LG 60LB6500 (60")

Tv ok but remote terrible – Bought an LG to replace a 40inch Sony that was nearly 8 years old. It still worked ok but we wanted a smart tv. down volume button started being difficult to use to the point it took considerable force then recently the on off button is going the same way. Now we have to yswitch it on and off manually and use a phone app to control the volume. Not impressed with the lifespan of the remote and just detracts from the whole tv. I contacted LG on their website and on live chat hoping to get a free replacement but it didn't happen. Definately wouldn't buy another LG tv as the quality just doesn't cut it and will probably go back to a Sony or Samsung. It might also be a lesson to get extended warranty too.
