Still amazed – After almost 3 years still a brilliant picture. Watching movies like Dune is just mesmerizing. Amazing TV.

Terrible – Paid over $4000 for a top of the line LG OLED TV. Took less than 3 years for it to have dead pixels appear. As per consumer law, if a major fault is deemed (which it was with their troubleshooting team), the customer is entitled to a replacement or a refund. LG does not abide by this law and as a result I am stuck with a broken TV that should have lasted well over 3 years. Do not choose a LG TV - go for Samsung. Show details

Absolute junk – Had the tv 6months and the mother board packed up. After 1 year the screen has gone. Rang to get a quote on a replacement screen and was quoted 4k..... I payed $3500 for the tv new. Absolute joke and this will be the last time I buy anything lg. I couldn't rate this tv any lower.

Adds! – Why do I get adds popping up at the bottom of the TV that I paid 3000 dollars for when I turn it on! Seriously, what the hell. It makes me so frustrated that I want to smash it in! Just let me use the TV that I paid good money for in peace! Show details

A whole new way to watch TV – I recently purchased a 65" LG C1 to replace our old Sony 55" 4K TV that had served us well. I was amazed by how clear the picture was and the black levels on the screen (thanks to the OLED panel) - the sound also surprised me as coming from a TV that had seperate, forward facing speakers, I was expecting to be disappointed but it performs well in this space.

LG's WebOS is quick and easy to use and there are a great range of apps, we use Netflix, Stan, Disney+ & Amazon Prime mainly and I have found they all support 4K HDR or Dolby Vision when available. There also appears to be a heap of apps in the app store although I haven't had a chance to go through it thorougly.

This TV also has some little features I hadn't thought about - one of them is the ability to send the sound to your phone (toggled via the app) - this is great if you want to use airpods etc (The TV also supports bluetooth headphones) - perfect for watching a show late at night when others are asleep.

I've read some reviews on the magic remote and was a little worried I wouldn't like it, but I actually think it's great - intuitive and easy to use, and the scroll wheel is great - it's just like using the mouse on a PC, although I wish the 'Movies' button on the remote could be programmed to another app like Stan for example - all it seems to do is open a search bar and enter 'Movies'

I also wish the HDMI/Ethernet/RF ports were a little closer to the side as it was awkward to install on a slim wall mount, but now it's up it's fine, another note is that for a $2000+ TV, the ethernet port is only 10/100 (although this is adequate to stream @ 4K)

All in all it seems like a solid well built TV, a little flimsy around the top where the screen is super thin, but that was only noticeable during installation - it's not like we pick up our TV on a regular basis.

Less than 18 months old and failing – After 8 months the HDMI would not connect to XBox one. Now the channel return on the remote has stopped working. Tried connecting to Freeview channels, only connected to a few. Big money for ordinary TV. Why is that? Show details

Don’t buy lg – Bought lg tv. Due to construction delays tv sat there for few months in a box locked up room. Got a Professional installer to install it and he opened the box and unwrapped it. lg service. Transfered to Philippines and they don’t care at all. They told me not there problem. Now I’m stuck with a broken tv on the wall. Tv cost $7500. I got lg fridge few tvs sound bar. Never again Rang few more times. Sent pictures. They reviewed the pics and said there’s a crack and they don’t warrant cracks. I could have told them there was a crack. Surprisingly Good – We’ve had Samsung TV’s for years and thought they were very good, especially for the price. But last TV I thought I’d splurge and bought a Sony, boy was I sorry. No more squinting to see what’s happening and it’s so thin! I’m still getting used to the fine tuning of the picture but overall, I’m delighted and would whole heartedly recommend it.

Perfect addition to replace our Samsung – Love the remote, quick access to specific apps with one click. Amazing pixel quality, truest black I’ve ever owned. HDMI isn’t as easy as the Samsung that has ‘The One Box’, but that feature is easily overlooked with the quality of this product compared to our Samsung product. issues within 4months – Issues with the HDMI Ports 1 and 4 not receiving input signals and the digital aerial tuning not receiving a signal as well.ARC stopped communicating with LG soundbar as well. such poor communication and outcome from LG, noting I also have LG Washing Machine, Dryer, Monitor and 3 LED TV's. LG have now lost me with brand loyalty or support.

There is no magic in that wand, which for me, puts it below its competitors – Unfortunately, LG wouldn't allow this review to be published on their website as it didn't meet their guidelines and they wouldn't say why. The LG has far superior smart functions/apps and sound, but we can't really see any discernable difference in the picture quality, so unless you have hawk like vision, don't get fooled by all the picture quality marketing guff. To be perfectly honest, our 8yr old 55 inch Samsung that we have in our grandson's room is just as good in picture quality as the LG. Now to the most annoying feature of the LG, the wand remote. Rubbish is the only way to describe it. If you are really good with a Nintendo Wii remote (or Harry Potter) you might like the LG wand...I say might. To use the LG wand, you need a really steady hand, good aim and very dexterous fingers to nail what you can do with a standard multi function remote in a fraction of the time and with far less hassle. With the wand, the quick function options are limited, so you need to navigate through numerous menu's to get to basic information such as, tv guide, program info, picture, sound, inputs, etc. It's a decent TV, but against its competitors, I can't see any discernable difference in the picture or sound, but it is definately let down by that awful remote."

Extremely disappointed with LG – My 3 day old LGC1 77 inch had an issue with a strange vertical line appearing on the screen along with issues of screen turning itself off. new panel. Essentially after the repair I will have a refurbished TV not a brand new TV which is what I paid top dollar for. I cannot believe that a faulty TV that has been used for less than 10 hours is not replaced. So disappointed given I chose LG despite my wife saying I should have gone with the Japanese competitor. When you spend close to 6k for a TV this is not what you expect. Buyer beware...

Just Great! – The OLED 4K 55C1 has really exceeded my expectations and they were high to start with. Picture wins in all areas and, in particular, with the critical black. Linked up well with my existing extra devices (Fetch 4K box, BOSE sound bar) and use and flexibility is simple and very good. screen. Did some researching and found the problem was screen burn caused by TV station "banners" at the bottom of the screen. I found that there was an operation to clear "screen noise" in the settings. Tried this over several months and the burn did not decrease - it got worse if anything. The TV has 7500 hours on it which would be considered light usage (about 5 hours per day). Emailed LG on their support page but never got a reply back. On the whole, a dissapointing purchase. To sum up: Pros. Good sound quality, Pairs up with chromcast OK, WiFi works well. Cons: On air channel list is fiddly and slow (my Sansung is faultless), Bluetooth will not work with Macintosh devices, Picture is prone to burn-in (see above).

This OLED TV can turn you on – I've always been Samsung fanboy for many years but spending a monstrous amount of time researching which one to buy was a nightmare. trouble using the LG. Its operating system is simple and logical. My brother bought his Sony OLED. He believes Sony is the Rolls Royce of TVs. The operating system on the Sony was difficult to understand, it didn't make sense, and colour on this screen is over-saturated. He practically paid the same money for his TV BUT, it's only a 55" - "snooze". Plus the LG is drop dead sexy as hell. Hook this beast up to LG (Meridian) soundbar and woofer, and you will be transported into the movie, especially now that most of the streaming services offer 4k content. It can even clean it's own screen from being left on too long while paused. I loved this TV OLED 65" so much, I bought another 65" OLED TV. The clarity, crisp picture with a good sound system built-in. So depending on how big your room is, the soundbar could "probably" make it too loud (is there such a thing). LG, I love you. I wish I had the money to buy the wallpaper model.
