LG AI QNED70B Mini LED Series

Great picture quality and good value for the size and quality of TV. It's the first LG TV I've owned and I find the menu options could be a bit more intuitive.
Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi for $1,415.
I purchased the LG 85" QNED from JBHIFI on 2nd of July 2026. It cost just over $2000. I've had it for about 2 weeks in total. I was watching the news last night and during the ad break, the screen froze. I was watching Demi Moore's face for a good 10 minutes. The audio still worked. I turned off the TV for 10 minutes. I tried a reset several times. Demi Moore's face gradually went black. The screen is now black with bleeding around the edges (see photo). The audio still works. I have lodged a home repair with LG but not heard anything back. This is a brand-new LG TV. Terrible!
UPDATE: LG organised repair men to fix the TV. They came today on 4/08. They fixed it for me. They told me the problem was the screen. They entirely replaced the screen. It is working now - looks great. But it does worry me this happened 2 weeks after the purchase. Repair men told me there was nothing I could have done to stop this (basically no fault of my own- screen issues).
