Biggest piece of crap I ever bought – Nothing but problems from the start. Thanks God for extra product care. 3 repairs under manufactures warranty that never actually fixed and finally after 4 months with no machine and no return call or repair from LG product care refunded our money. i spent 4 months calling LG only to be told we will look into it and call you back. Don't touch with a 6ft barge pole. Also takes 4.5 hrs to wash and dry a load if youre lucky enough to get it to work. Show details

Shocking product & company – Do not buy this washer. It will only work for a year & then not work at all. Continuously getting a TE error even after it got the new part. The aftercare service? Well let’s not even start on that!! They tell you when it’s convenient for them to come & look/ fix the machine, I’m pretty sure the company should be taking into consideration that it… Read more

should be when it’s convenient for the customer. I’ve been left with no working washing machine & having to go to a laundromat & pay $15 per load so we don’t have a mountain of clothes (family of 4 soon to be 5) while we wait for a time that we are actually home because they don’t take into consideration that people work full time & someone isn’t always at home at their times. So far I’ve had to reschedule 3 times.

!!! DO NOT BUY ANY MODEL OF LG TWINWASH !!! – Do NOT buy any LG Twinwash machine – the design is a dud/lemon and is not fit for purpose. It does not wash or rinse clothes properly - it leaves them dirty, still smelling under the arms and feeling rough and stiff. Sheets and blankets come out covered in lint and fluff. Spin cycle regularly leaves clothes too wet to hang out - I had to put… Read more

them on for extra rinse and spin cycle to try and get the machine to spin properly. The wash cycles are WAY too long (3.5 hours for a half load of clothes!!!). The tumble dryer cycles are also very long and don't completely dry clothes. It was impossible for me to get through all my laundry in a weekend (and I don't even have any kids!). This machine also damaged my clothes and sheets - causing extreme pilling. The spin cycle is excessively loud, with a high pitched screeching noise that could be heard all throughout the house. The machine is also excessively loud when drawing water. The small unit at the bottom is useless – leaving clothes too wet and (as it’s a top loader and you have to close the lid to slide the draw back in as soon as you finish a cycle), quickly develops a small that you cannot get rid of. The worst of all however, was the attitude of LG and the Good Guy's when I explained all the issues I was having, provided photographs and videos etc. and asked if I could exchange the machine for an LG top loader. I spent HOURS on the phone, going around in circles with the offshore LG customer care team, LG in Sydney and the Good Guys and was treated with complete disdain and made to feel like a liar. I was fobbed off with every reason in the book not to exchange my machine – I was using too much laundry powder, I was overloading the machine, I was underloading the machine, the problem was caused by the water at my house. Five months later, I am now left with no washing machine and $3k out of pocket as this machine is so bad I will not have it back at my house. This whole experience has been stressful and awful and made me question my sanity at times. I will NEVER buy from LG or Good Guys again.

Biggest waste of MONEY!!!!! – I’ve spent thousands on LG products over the years from Fridges to TV’s , stick vacuums , top and front loader machines but this has to be the biggest disappointment of all , as a family of 7, I thought this washing machine would make my life that little bit easier BUT Noooo , it leaks, it DOESN’T Dry the clothes and the cycles are far too long ,… Read more

this machine has been such an expensive disappointment , it’s honestly steered me away from LG products altogether, their customer service is absolutely shocking they try at all costs to not take responsibility for their dodgy products and give you the run around like no other company I’ve ever experienced , it’s very disheartening to spend so much money with a company and yet to get no loyalty back.

Worst Machine Ever!!!! – I purchased this machine from the Good Guys on the `04/09/2017 and also purchased the 5 Years Concierge Gold Service Extras. Thank goodness I got the 5 year warranty with this machine. Washer is perfect but inlet hoses given are short – This washer and dryer combo is amazing. The only thing we are left unsatisfied is the inlet hoses provided are short because of which we had to replace with Bunnings ones and its leaking. Wish I can find original LG’s 2m hoses. Show details ·  1

Noisy. Water leaking all over floor! – The upside is the size, different functions to choose from, and dryer combo(sometimes) Downside: dryer takes for ever! No option of putting something in that almost dry just for 15 min or so. It comes out wetter then what it went in. Ive had so many problems with excessive rattle and shaking and terrible noise on high spin cycle and water leaking all over my floor. Wish I never bought this Show details

Unbelievably good – Bought this 4 months back. Was not keen to spend so much ($2900 with Harvey Norman Thomastown) but my wife wanted this . I can not speak high enough of it. shining clean , it’s amazing . The segment at bottom is good for hand wash which cleans delicate items. You can select your own cycle options if you don’t want to use the pre selected ones:

Dryer options include - Turbo Dry - Air Dry There is a mini machine underneath which you can use to clean little bits and bobs, mind you I have put my clothes in here to wash sometimes because I feel that the top machine is too big to only wash pants, shirt and underwear by itself.

You can have both machines running at the same time which is a bonus!

Both machines have a safety lock function

You can add items in even if the machine is running which is awesome because I always have last minute clothes I chuck in!

The bottom machine pre selected cycles include - Lightly Soiled - Speed Wash - Hand Wash - Active Wear - Rinse + Spin - Tub Clean 4/6 star energy rating (warm wash) 2.5/6 star energy consumption 4/6 star water rating (164 litres per wash)

Terrible washer- leaking on my floor and into bottom washer – I purchased In June 2018 from Harvey Norman. This machine is still under warranty with LG until June 2020. This machine has been leaking on and off since I first purchased this machine and despite multiple calls between both the store of purchase and LG, the machine is only now being booked in for Review/? Repair. Because there was been issues… Read more

with the leaking, I have also requested this machine be replaced. However, LG customer service have said they will only get a technician to come to review and possibly fix and have currently refused to replace the machine. I have also commenced the Process to complain about LG customer service Re: delayed process to fix this issue as all call attendees do not appear to read previous notes about the discussions about the same leaking machine. When I mentioned this, the customer service rep brought to my attention they actually do not have a complaints department to handle these matters at all. It was only after I requested x2 to speak with a supervisor, they allowed me to and the supervisor only advised me that I can speed up the repair time of the technician by calling the repair people myself. When I asked about future follow up of my complaint re: my customer service experience re: the leaking machine, he said this was the solution to my complaint and nothing else would be done. This matter is currently being brought to the attention of fair trading.

Save yourself money, for the amount you are paying there should be better service but it makes sense when you read the other reviews and see people are not being followed up or being given the run around. I would not recommend this product and I would not recommend purchasing anything LG.

Good but bulky and dryer pretty useless: would not purchase again – Machine is just 12 months old. I found my 10 year old Meile did a better wash and more gentle on clothes. But this machine is HUGE though so good for large families. Definitely fits king bed sheets or king doona to be washed. Need to use extra rinses with big loads though so not certain on the water efficiency rating there, yes I use only a very… Read more

small amount of washing detergent.

Purchased through Harvey Norman and somehow accidentally only delivered top part. Took over a month to get bottom section found and delivered. Absolute no advice or help from LG or Harvey Norman on how to install the two sections. Note: Very heavy and difficult to DIY install, took three adults to lift the heavy top machine into place on bottom unit. Not practical to try and move.

Dryer takes forever and still feel damp when get them out after a 3 hour cycle. I rarely use it and go back to my old dryer.

I wish LG had thought about child safety further with this machine. Huge door easy to open when turned off. I have a lock on my internal laundry door because of this concern. I regret buying it now mainly because of this concern.

Very bad customer Service – Bought this machine in March because their cash back promotion over the Samsung. Noticed pool of water on the floor after only one week, call to LG but without answer, found out the flexible water pipe is badly made and not fit correct, had to replace it with the old 15 years pipe myself. The other issue with this unit is the touch buttons on… Read more

the bottom washer very hard to active, still waiting for answer from LG. LG cash promotion is a scam, after submit the claim within 2 week and follow their website to supply both serial numbers, their web site continue to show "waiting for process". At July when make a call to their hotline to inquires my claim, a few weeks later, their email respond was that the claim period had ended, they can not process my claim any longer.

Great concept but bad customer service for faulty unit – Bought machine in 2018. Within 12 months noticed some leaking on laundry floor. Got LG repairer out who couldn’t find a leak and told me to use less washing power. Did so and leak got worse over the following 3-6 months. Even leaked on drier cycle and when using no washing powder to test theory. Leak made floor wet and pooled on the top of the… Read more

small washer. Water then spilled down the side of machine onto the lid area of the washer below causing the lid hinges of the small washer to start to seize up and the small washer is now smelling from stale water sitting somewhere. (Repairer had brushed this off telling me to wash it with vinegar in a cycle to remove smell.. only temp fix as smell came back quickly as routes cause still there) Reported to LG with hopeless response. Sent videos of leak and contacted the retailer. Not impressed with some verbal pushback from LG direct. I didn’t waste time and pushed for refund as per Australian consumer law as I can only imagine the damage done in the unit inside and don’t trust this to be repaired. By rights the more you spend on something the more you should expect it to work and be fit for purpose!(So push for your rights and don’t waste time with niceties. It gets you know where.) Anyway now have a store credit of $3500 to get a replacement machine thanks to retailer pushing from their end with their distributor. Not sure now if I want to get the same model or purchase a different brand??? Love the concept of the machine in general. Lots of cycle options and huge loads cuts weekly washing down immensely. You just need to make sure you have enough places to hang it all. It is a bulky machine so you also need the space to put it. Because of the high price of machine we purchased extra product care warranty through Harvey Norman which would replace machine if faulty and after manufacturer warranty is lapsed. So that gives me five years total cover including manufactures warranty. Only reason I’d consider taking the chance again as I do love the machine itself...Harvey Norman were also amazing in getting me a resolution as LG were very very poor at responding. Note: machine can be on the loud side during spinning cycles and you need air flow for when it’s drying as it still gets hot and steamy in a small closed in space. Steam drying cycle does take a long time and not sure how well it dries as I haven’t used it too much. Still seems a bit damp at the end. On a positive note, I love the ability to set a time to wash overnight so I can wake up to a load ready to hang and also that I can pause the cycle to add another item if I have found a stray piece of clothing that was missed in the initial load sorting. Concept wise this machine is a game changer to be able to do a huge load plus the use of the mini washer at the same time. There’s nothing comparable on the market right now!

Expensive piece of junk – I used to love this machine but 1 year in, nothing but trouble. LG know there is a problem with the screws popping out of a part and at one year this happened, they replaced them with bigger screws, 2 months later the screws popped out again but this time threaded and now the bowl has to be replaced also, the movement also caused parts to rub on… Read more

wires, (luckily they were covered in electrical tape, to me this is a fire hazard in itself as I use it at night). Good luck dealing with LG service, they just give you the run around, tell you they will ring you back and don't, this is now the third time in 3 months I have had no washing machine for over 2 weeks. I've contacted the retailer that I have purchased this from and hoping to get a refund as this machine is not fit for purpose. I think I was one of the first to buy this machine when it first came out so I'll be interested to see how others go after a year or so.

LG Twinwash – Bought this machine to replace our 15 years old washing machine. Very easy to use & convenient. We do two large loads each weeks. The only problem was we never have a front loader so didn’t know that we need to drain the… Read more

overflow water from the big machine so we got s few flooding incidents especially doing large loads. The company sent out look at machine & cant find any faults. Great washing machine but only for a big load – This machine is very huge & heavy. Only buy this if you have a large family as i think it will be a waste to put small loads. Its very quiet compared to the other machines on the market. Pretty easy to use once you get to know how to use it. I still love it but if i ahd the chance, i would prefer to buy a machine separate to the dryer.  Show details

A perfect laundry system for our family – We bought the LG Twin Wash from Harvey Norman a few days ago. We are blown away by its HUGE capacity, we expected loooong washes due to the large load capacity, No, it washes pretty fast, clothes come out super clean, this machines water spay jets and cleaning functions are cleverly designed, its extremely efficient, it was real easy to install,… Read more

it's easy and great fun to use. Our super king duna fitted with room to spare and washed perfectly, a drum large enough for a HUGE family wash load on top , 2.5kg top loader mimi washer for delicates at the bottom.. this washing machine washes fast, it cleans thoroughly, and it dries almost perfectly, just like our old inverter dryer, the clothes feel hot and steamy after the drying cycle is finished, but soon go to totally dry once out of the drum airing and cooling for afew minutes. We found it best to do a wash only and use the clothesline through the day, using the wash and dry cycle off peak and overnight, as it can take up to 4 hours to wash and dry a full load of washing. This machine is loaded with easy to use features, much more considerate than our old machine, this one politely plays a music tune to alert you once the wash cycle is finished, the Wifi phone App works but was a bit glitsy, but not a feature useful to us. We have washed all our dunas, and all our family laundry in no time. We highly recommend this machine, if you have a laundry room to fit this beauty, we suggest that have a good look at the LG Twin Wash, we can not recommend it highly enough.

Very expensive disappointment - bankrupt service – Spent hours researching the product on-line before buying. On opening packaging, information was disclosed which, if it is on LG AU's website, certainly does not leap off the page. Result? Product appears, from the papers that shipped with it, to be unfit for my purpose. Try LG online chat - operator knew nothing. Telephone LG and operator knew… Read more

nothing but promised a call back by a product specialist. No call when promised.

Decide to use product in another situation to avoid the hassle of repackaging and returning and no doubt LG resistance to same. Adaptor depicted in owner's manual (p14) not supplied. After several hours on online chat, email and phone - I was advised (i) LG does not supply; and, in any event, (ii) I cannot use the adaptor in Australia (I could not decipher why). Told product is new to market and I should expect that no-one knows anything about it yet! As the rep was not addressing my issue with a view to solving it, I asked to be referred up the customer service tree; request rejected. I said if no help was forthcoming I would post a negative review for which the rep, curiously, thanked me.

$3,999 RRP with a cash back offer. Applied online for cash back but: "Unfortunately, we have not been able to finalise your claim as the serial number provided is invalid" - where the serial number provided was the "SIN" on the supplier's invoice. A point that would not irritate (and my mistake) but for all the other issues.

I can but hope I get some meaningful and timely support and that, if I am ever able to use the machine, it works!
