LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor 32GN550-B
VerifiedMPN: 32GN550-B1 review
LG 32" monitor 32GN550 – I've had my LG 32GN550 monitor for about 4 days now, and absolutely love it. I previously had a 27" and a 24" setup, and have opted to use 1 larger display to replace both of those and utilise the Windows screen snapping ability (where you drag one window to one side, then select another window for the other half, and Windows automatically splits the screen in half for you). This is especially fabulous where you are entering information into a form and referencing selected information from another document.
This is a 32", 165hz monitor, with sRGB 95% Color Gamut and HDR10 capability. It is tilt/height/pivot adjustable, so you can also turn the screen 90 degrees to use it in portrait mode. The side and top bezels are ~1/5", with the bottom bezel being about 1". The monitor is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. It has 1ms response time with MBR (Motion Blur Reduction), and 5ms (GtG at Faster) response time.
The colours render beautifully, and it is a joy to use. I wholeheartedly recommend it for every day use, and most definitely for gaming.
Update November 2022: After using the monitor for over a year, I realised that the picture quality no longer met my expectations. What do I mean by this? Well, this monitor is a well built, large sized monitor, but it is only a HD screen. As with all digital display formats, the bigger the size of the monitor, the more pixels are needed, otherwise the image suffers. I purchased a 4K monitor for work, and the picture sharpness and clarity blew the 32” LG out of the water. If you are going to purchase a 32” monitor, I strongly recommend buying a 4K model which means it has 2x the pixels of an HD screen.
