problem, it is the worst customer service ever dealt with. They agree it is a problem, but they did nothing so far, they never come back to you. One time they asked me to run a program and they said they call me back in one hour, I waited one week to hear from them hopelessly, called them back after that, during discussion line dropped ( or may be hanged up, I don't know), waited for them to call back, but never happened. Last thing was a text message from them asking for purchase receipt, I sent it on 11 Feb ( 2 weeks ago), nothing happened, still waiting for next step. my case number is; CNP240209483832

It caused brown stain in my washing – The model I bought is WTW 1409 HCW. The stain looks like 2 drops of oil which explains the colour brown because the dryer heat. This is detrimental to my whites. Could LG please provide either a refund or replacement? Show details

Works perfectly – Living in an apartment space is of a premium. When I purchased this washer dryer combo I wasn’t having many expectations but this product completely blew me away. It’s so easy to setup, washes perfectly every time and doesn’t have too much noise. Really easy to use and operate. your clothes like the Bosch would be. Next time, we'll spend the money and get a Bosch instead for a washer/dryer, no other brand compares.

2 in one washer and dryer – I have light to heavy clothings so the options are great for me. Wool, quick and mix wash are the options I used most. like how I can adjust the settings to suit my needs. advantage I don’t have to take my clothes in and out. Just does the job. There is like a plastic burning smell that I had to get use to when I first started using it. Was really unpleasant. Otherwise, fantastic machine. No complaints! It doesn’t ruin any clothes whether dry clean or really fragile clothes. Of course I have also the laundry bags for diff clothings for protection when I chuck in washer as well.

Buy a bosch - avoid this one - This was a terrible washer dryer and even worse support from LG – Washed ok, but every time it dried it smelled terrible, support said it was normal. The smell was so bad that it remained even after it was washed again. After about a week, it started short circuiting and support were ok with that. I complained further and they completely ignored me. Had to go to another independent body to get a refund. Avoid at all cost.  Show details

Love this product – Washing has become an absolute breeze with my LG washer dryer combo. Only thing I can fault is that it's supposed to be noiseless yet I can hear it spinning from the other end of the house. This item fits perfect in the laundry – My favourite features are the way way it keeps clothes clean, also how quiet the drum rotates. I think it is a very easy machine to work and it is a very stable unit. I keep my dryer on top of the washing machine with out a problem. Very still and quiet with great energy rating  Show details

long time to complete (up to 2 hours). You need to think of the dryer as a backup/emergency type dryer because its is nowhere near as effective a s dedicated one. It works fine but it takes forever to dry a whole load from scratch. Its best to line dry and use it for finishing. Overall we love it and are very happy with our purchase.

steam cycles. Not had a problem so far, had it for 2yrs now. Thought the front loading would be a pain for my lower lumbar back problems but havent noticed any issues so far. Happy with the product, no issues with tank water & we need to watvh what washing liquid we use due to septic tank- I use Earth and all our clothes are clean and smell nice.

Service faults – Be aware of lg and it’s service department... a simple fix that should have been in trouble shooting guide cost $160 to repair.. if you experience AE fault.. don’t call for service... simply tilt machine back and empty any water from tray below machine.. this will clear the fault and you can use your machine... service.. or remove top cover and fix hose leak yourself... mine was a simple connection from hose to machine leak.

Great washing machine, average dryer – I have this wash/dryer for over a year now and it is extremely quiet, washes and wrangle the clothes really well. It has various functions and it is great for delicate clothes. Great start rating for water and reasonably good in the energy saving. The 30 minute washing function does an excellent job. It doesn’t dry the clothes that well and it takes a long time to get them dry 2 hours plus ) I recommend this product as a washing machine not so much as a dryer.

Perfect workhorse – I LOVE THIS MACHINE... I cannot fault it, other than a friend was able to snap the handle before the machine unlocked - thankfully it still works! It washes daily for our family of six and can dry a FULL load in 3.5-4 hours which I'm happy to let run overnight. I love that it has a fast wash cycle, 30ish minutes and I love that you can set it to wash and then go straight into a dry cycle, I can set it and forget it... it also does the anti-crease spins for a while at the end of a cycle.

We recently moved to a home where the laundry lives in a cupboard with bi-fold doors, I was very worried the machine wouldn't fit and started looking for the smaller model. I was thrilled to measure the space and find it can fit snuggly IN A CUPBOARD!

People would probably be shocked if I said how much I paid for this machine secondhand ($200!) it is the best bargain I've ever snagged, almost ;)

I really can't fault it, if it died tomorrow I would replace it in a heartbeat.

they are damp, but within seconds of exposure to room temp they seem perfectly dry. The only issue I had was with the "quick wash and dry" program - the clothes came out damper than I liked, but then the instructions say that program is for 1-3 shirts only and I definitely put in more than that. Yes the wash and dry programs take a long time, but for my situation it is easy to plan my loads accordingly, including starting a load at bedtime or when leaving for work. Just a note, there is a way to dry only without having to go through a wash cycle. Turn the machine on and press the drying program buttons without spinning the main dial. You can select drying time etc with the buttons. as soon as you touch the dial it will add a wash program.

Great washing machine – It is a great combination unit. Though It's a bit noisy when spinning and drying. It cleans clothes but some modes take really long to finish (approx 3 hours). The options are a bit limited like you can't put wet clothes in and select dry or spin only, you have to go through the whole washing cycle to get to the spin/dry mode. I'm not aware of but if there is, it's not intuitive. In term of cleaning quality, it cleans pretty well and doesn't damage clothes as much as other machines do.

Great for quick washing and drying – I mainly wash my clothes in 30 mins. cycle and it gets the job done, there are other features that are helpful as well like wool and or dry fit clothes to help care the product that you are washing. For drying, it does dry the items you put but takes a bit of time like average at more than 2 hours and if you want to have it completely dry you need to put small amount of clothes and not full as the manual indicates.  Show details

Good one ☝️ – I always like LG products. I replaced my old LG washing machine to new one which has capacity of 9kg and 5kg for dryer. I like both facilities together. Nice sound after finishing. Good washer. But the dryer star rating is low than the washer. I don't like one thing is this dryer has no rinse only option which I had old washing machine.
