Liddells Lactose Free Skim

Not happy with Skim lactose free milk now – I agree with other comments. Since change in packaging it appears browner and tastes different. Used it for years. Thought it was my imagination. Show details
Not as good as it was before – Definitely not happy with this since the formula change. It now has a slight UHT taste which it did not have before. Going back to fresh lactose free milk. What a shame that a perfect product was fiddled with. Show details
Taste has changed along with packaging – I totally agree with the review above about the taste changing along with the packaging. Have bought Liddell’s Lactose free low fat milk for years now and have loved it. The colour has changed from white to some other colour and it tastes thicker. I thought it was just the packaging they had changed but didn’t realise they have also changed… Read more
ownership and the formula! Not happy with the taste or the lack of transparency, so will be looking at other options now too.
Not the same since they changed to new producers – Since changing packaging and new producers of the product I find the taste reminds me of the horrible UHT milk products of the 1960"S when we were forced to drink milk at school! I will be looking at other options on the market when my stock runs empty! Fancy thinking the supplier could fool us with new packaging! Shame on you!
May contain lactose – I am /very/ sensitive to lactose and I found both this milk and the Liddells Lactose Free Cheese cause me to have diarrhea and tenesmus (painful cramps). It may be suitable for less sensitive people. Not sure if all batches contain lactose, or just some, because I seemed to be able to tolerate it for a while when I first started eating their products. It may also mean I am intolerant to some other part of milk besides the lactose....
Taste like normal milk! – This is the best lactose free cows milk I have found in super markets. It actually taste like milk! No more avoiding dairy completely, the whole range is perfect. Lactose intolerant and I can still enjoy coffees and cheesy dishes without conseqences. Easy to find in any major supermarket (tho more expensive). Tastes like real milk, In most major supermarkets
It's ok – I tried the high calcium skim UHT milk, and while I found it has relieved the normal issues with dairy that would send me running to the toilet, the taste leaves little to be desired. It has a distinct taste, not unlike that of milk straight from the dairy (unhomogenised/unpasteurised). Which for me, is rather unpleasant. I'll try another, in the… Read more
hope it was just a 'once off'. Which I hope it is so I can enjoy my coffee and finally start having milkshakes again!!! it didn't upset my tummy the taste
Love the whole Liddells range – I found these products great. I have tried the whole range and for me are a great alternative to normal milk. Lovely creamy slightly sweeter taste, but without the bloating I get from normal milk. So much nicer than soy. The fact that it is long life means that when it is on special I can stock up on it. Creamy taste and long life convenience. Not as cheap as normal milk.
I can finally have a coffee that tastes normal again! I hate soy! – I had terrible tummy troubles with dairy and realised that it was the lactose in milk that was causing it. I'm thankful I found Liddells as I now can enjoy my coffees again without the tummy issues. It was a little different in taste however it was worth getting use to! Long life means I can stock up! Inexpensive. low in fat. I no longer have… Read more

Surprise. It now appears that some changes have been made. It looks and tastes better. I will monitor to see if this is permanent.
