Magimix 2 / 4 Slice

Back Again – After about three and a half years, two of the elements have failed. Now, to be fair, we have seven people in our house hold, so a toaster does a lot of work. I would of expected, a couple more years out of a toaster in this price bracket. For the price, I wouldn't go with this brand of toaster, as it's not worth the money. Probably best to go with something a bit cheaper.
Blows your fuse and can,t be repaired – Just out of warranty and it trips the fuse in the electrical box. According to Magimix it can't be repaired. Until now it was terrific $200 down the drain. Would not buy another Magimix
Not worth the money – Lasted about 2.5 years - not worth the money. Performed OK as a toaster but the longevity didn't live up to the price tag. Wasn't great at crumpets either. Would not recommend or buy anything else made by this company. I'd recommend that you buy a Dualit or many cheap toasters! Made OK toast Not long lasting, not worth the money.
Great Toaster – Great toaster. Just how it brown's the bread and the quality of the unit. Very easy to use and the S/steel catch tray for the crumbs just pulls out from the front. Looking out the unit in how it has been designed and manufactured, it looks like it will last a long time, probably about 20 years, which makes it cheap. If you want a good quality toaster that is easy to use, then this is probably the toaster for you. Easy to use and quality constuction. Expensive, look around on the net. I bought mine for $249.00 on an internet special from Your Home Depot in Sydney.
Excellent – A great looking toaster and the colour 'ALMOND' matches my new mixer perfectly even though its a different make. We were really looking to buy a Kitchen Aid toaster but were advised that it did not have many of the features that we have with our MAGIMIX! crumpet function to name one. Many thanks to staff at Matchbox Northland for all their advise. looks great next to Kitchen Aid mixer, both in cream and match perfectly
