Washing the car or patio it proved very effective leaving very little to be redone. Not supplied with a dedicated patio washer but many others will fit with an adapter. Seemed quieter than my old Karcher K4 and more powerful.
Trigger grip was a bit uncomfortable after long use but ok with gloves on.
Purchased in January 2021 for $399.

I wish I had read the reviews on this product before I bought it, I agree with all the other reviews.
The wheels fall off on any surface rougher than a bowling green, the hose reel is far to small for the hose, the motor cuts in and out and at times just will not start, the on-off switch is of poor design and you are constantly trying to turn it on.
I use the machine to wash my car only so it does not work hard, it probably gets used once a month, the last couple of times I had to go back to washing the car with the garden hose because it wouldn't start.
It is without a doubt the worst designed water blaster on the market there are a lot of far cheaper more efficient water blasters on the market.
Terrible - Used it a dozen times but paste the warranty date. DO NOT BY A MAKITA PRESSURE WASHER
Over 24 month period I used my Makita pressure washer maybe a dozen times to wash the drive way. Each session was no more than 20 - 30 minutes. I'd used the filter supplied and never used detergent. The thing just stopped working. When I explained my problem at the point of purchase they said the warranty was void and I'd need to take it up with Makita. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Purchased this unit for $399.00, a lot of money when you are on a pension. Told by retailer it was very heavy duty, used it a maximum of 12 times over a 2 year period to wash my car and the motor burned out. Told by F&K Tools to take it to Makita at Eastern Creek in NSW, they inspected unit and could only come up with the excuse it had been used with an extension cord. It has never been used with an extension cord, Makita showed no goodwill, I would have been better buying a cheap Gurni.
The name Makita is supposed to be quality
Obviously there is a motor quality issue, also lack of goodwill from Makita

The design is not very good at all. The hose reel handle is cheap as and there is not enough room for the hose to reel on comfortably. The wheels fall off - again cheap design and not appropriate for the weight of the unit. And now this unit has stopped working, the pump unit will not fire up.
when it worked pressure was okay.
very poor design - cheaply manufactured

Pump was repaired okay --- now needs a new gun as leaking water everwhere.
