It has been more than a year now. The ceiling fans all five of them are silent. Work perfectly and i have no complaints. I thought i provide this update
Martec Albatros good but bit disapointed – Whisper quiet. remote seems to be designed in what would be back to front. " 1 " is the higher setting and "5" is the lowest. quit annoying. On high speed fan blow far amount but no were near what was expected for 84". Glad we didn't buy "Big #rse Fan" may have performed the same. Had to drop fan lower on extension pole to allow for more air output which helped but this through a wobble into fan when in use.

Significant Safety Concern - Martec Albatross 84" – Our Martec Albatross 84” DC fan fell, without warning from our nearly 5 meter high ceiling and crashed to the floor below. Thankfully at the time there was no one underneath it. If there was, it could have severely injured them, if not, killed them! Customer service has been atrocious and Martec Australia are refusing to compensate us for the cost of the fan. Will never buy another Martec product again!
Love this huge showpiece – Well it's very big. And very effective, super quite & keep's my wife cool as a cucumber. Happy wife - happy life. And the service & pricing from Ceiling Fan Warehouse was spot on. Wouldn't buy a fan from another supplier - these folk are competitive, have quality products and professional services / delivery. We are so impressed with this fan, we have one in the bedroom with a light, while second one in the Lounge Room is the fan only. The controller is also simple to operate. Happy customers.
