knew better than the product directions. I was wrong. Bubbles for days!!! (Literally, at least 3 days! Never again). It used to be fine in a top loader though. I mix it with water in a spray bottle to get stains out of carpet and fabric too. Works on pretty much ALL stains, including pet stains. Going to give the softly version a miss.

audaciously marked up in price. All for one reason only - vulgar greed through broadened profit margins! So many terrific products have over the years been destroyed with this vile methodology. Beware of any favourite or trusted product that suddenly states 'New and Improved', why the need to reinvent the wheel? When a product works so wonderfully, why on earth interfere with it? Martha's was a homemade country recipe formulated with simple readily available products, just manufactured at a greater scale. Now I can only shudder at the cheap unnatural chemical cocktail it has been deteriorated into. The currently available product we all once knew and trusted has been destroyed and replaced with a destructive imposter that has destroyed a number of beautiful merino wool garments and blankets. Now the journey commences to find a suitable replacement, it certainly will NOT be anything manufactured by Softly's parent companies! This is an awful product – This is nothing like the original Martha Gardener product. It is a cheap smelling, watery liquid that will do nothing to enhance your woolens. I will be throwing this rubbish out and looking for an alternative that will do the job the original product used to do before being ruined by a big brand that cares nothing about quality. Show details

Quality of the original product has been lost – I have been using Martha's Wool mix for many years and before it was commercialised I used to make my own with Lux flakes. It was wonderful. excellent product – I have been unable to purchase this product, Martha's Wool wash. Both Woolworths and Coles are out of stock. I believe it is Australian made but am unable to find the manufacturer for more information. I use this product every day and would like to purchase it as I have for some years. This washing liquid washes my wool blankets and clothes wonderfully – Martha's washing liquid washes my wool blankets and clothes wonderfully. This washing liquid is highly concentrated and smells nice. My hand washing time has reduced since using this wool wash liquid. This is much better than the previous wool wash that I used, which was like lolly water, very watery. Marthas wool mix is an Australian made product. Has been replaced by new Softly for Woollens in the green bottle – Martha's wool wash is discontinued under this branding by Pental. It's now improved and part of Pental's Softly range in the new green bottle Softly for Woollens with eucalyptus. It's their recommended wool wash, taking the title from blue bottle Softly. I find the bottled version inferior to the original recipe so I do not purchase same – I make the original Martha Gardener Wool Mix with Lux etc. I find the bottled formula leaves my hands sticky as many various bottled products do also. I found the original recipe which Martha used to give out when she had her radio program and it is great.

Best laundry liquid ever! – I love Martha Gardener Wool Mix in Lavender fragrance. Not only does it clean your clothes but they stay softly scented and silky to the touch. Not a fan of eucalyptus, reminds me of sick bays. Please never discontinue this product. I have also washed the dog with it which is a bonus. Performance, price and fragrance. Too hard to find.

Sadly, hard to get! – Works wonderfully well. Been using it for years, handwash or top loader. My favourite fragrance is Native Jasmine & Chamomile but sadly I'm told it's been discontinued. Eucalyptus, while great for woolens, its scent is too strong on delicates. So I guess I'll have to try and find another product. Shame because this one's perfect - if they kept to their established fragrances and retailers. efficient, smells great a little on the expensive side, getting hard to get

Martha Gardener's wool mix leaves a beautiful perfume that smells fresh that I have grown up with since I was a child. It helps make your fabric and woolens last longer so you can get more wear out of your clothse as it conditions the items. Excellent – Martha Gardener Wool mix is a great product and one I happily use when i can afford to. It is one of my favourite products of this kind as it has a really invigourating eucalyptus scent. and toddlers and easy to use in the liquid form. I love the eucalyptus smell that it imparts on your clothes and it makes them nice and soft too. A bit pricey like the other sensitive skin type products.

OK – Overall this wool wash is a great price and very good cleaner on wool and other gentle fabrics. Make sure you dont put too much in or it takes too long to wash out. only need to use a tiny bit because it lathers up so well. lovely fresh fragrance and leaves clothes smelling so clean and fresh.
