Mercator Rhino DC Ceiling Fan 9 Blade

Expensive ceiling fan that doesn't work – Was going good, (only used in winter) but at 6 yo and only 5 years of use this expensive fan decided to play up. Shuddering, hesitation and banging on a very long start up till now won't start at all. Just out of warranty, discontinued, no parts, so chuck out our beautiful $610 fan . Never again. Thanks J D lighting no help whatsoever. Mercator no help at all. I think it was discontinued because the motor is not fit for purpose hence only a smaller version is available now.
