Their support is terrible – Have been talking to them for almost a month and haven't got my issue resolved. Its like moving at a snails pace, i get a series of 2-3 generic steps to fix the problem via email, contact them back if it doesn't work and then wait for 2-3 days for a response. Sent my laptop to them for repairs, which they fixed, but just damaged another component in the process, now trying to chase them up to fix that as well....  Show details

laptop. The disk supplied at time of sale had drivers for a previous windows model, they don't support older models so no windows 7 or 10 drivers are available for this model.Their customer service is not very helpful. I wouldn't recommend this brand, and I don't consider it value for money!

I concur !! – I purchased my MEtabox W650SJ about 18 months ago. Awesome computer for my first laptop. I don't have a lot more to add then the previous review other then "I Concur !! $1200. I opted for a 1TB HDD, i7-4810 Processor 2.8GHz up to 3.8Ghz, 3M Carbon fibre backing and a 2GB Nvidia GTX 850m card.

In terms of value for money, the 650SJ is bang on, I haven't found a laptop on the market with the same specs for less or equal cost. You wont find Metabox in the shops, they sell exclusively online from a number of Australian resellers with a number of shipping options. I purchased mine from P4 Laptops and had a smooth experience.

The power that the 650SJ offers is staggering, Ive been able to play Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, F1 2013 and many more all on Ultra with no obvious lag at all. Temperatures are also quite low with a moderate fan speed. Gaming with a matte screen is also a bonus with no glare in high lit conditions.

Overall I am very please with my W650SJ and would absolutely buy from Metabox again. Power, Battery life, Value for money, Freindly customer service Not much if hardly anything but if I had to say maybe the keyboard buttons could be a bit better, however this is the cheapest of the Metabox laptops with optional extras added.
