Italian made Beast - 5 years Warranty!

I have developed a large interest in pressure washers the last 6 months, and wrote a lengthy review of the Stihl RE129 pressure washer which was excellent.

My most recent purchase is the Michelin MPX 160 RBP for $900 from Sydney Tools, it comes with an amazing 5 years Warranty! This machine is designed and made in Italy! And all accessories made in Italy too!

Michelin are a brand of the well known Italian pressure washer maker Annovi Reverberri known in the USA as AR, they make great quality pressure washers and ship them all over the world.

I'll quickly list it's specs, features and accessories.

160 Bar Max, and I have tested this on a Pressure Gauge, though it doesnt operate at this pressure it just hits it for a second when you turn the machine on and the Pump loads up.

(130) bar operating pressure, pump pressure.

2.3KW Power.

2320psi maximum pressure, working pressure is 1885psi. It took a bit of research to work this out. Sometimes the pressure ratings and explanations vary from brand to brand, and it important to work out the operating pressure so you know how much pressure you have to work with from the hose,

though the end Nozzle can alter the pressure you have to work with, the 0 degree pencil jet stream may be higher than this and well into the 2000's psi, as all that pressure is forced through a small outlet, the turbo head also produces a very high level of pressure, Michelin quote 50% more power, so 2827psi of effective pressure.

So to help you understand, the PSI the Pump is producing may not be the amount at the nozzle, it may be much more, your effective operating pressure is determined by the Pump + Nozzle TYPE.

500 litres per hour. 8.3L per minute induction....pumping out 10L a minute.

It's 25kg.

Comes with:
Rotating lance
Vario lance
Patio cleaner
Pressure brush
6m extenion hose with 8m standard hose attached to machine.
Water filter
Drain pipe
1.2L detergent tank at back of machine

The pump itself has a BRASS head which can last a very long time.

Both vario lance and rotating lance are excellent for cleaning duties, machine produces great pressure. There is also a detergent tank which can be used for extra cleaning duties.

Machine is a really nice design and all attachments and build quality appears top notch, has also been advertised for commercial applications too.

The patio cleaner is really awesome you can cover and clean large areas in a short amount of time, and can also deal with blocked drains with the drain attachment hose.

CONS:
The negatives of the machine were its weight, feels very heavy though it does have wheels.

Doesn't have a side holder for gun, though there are 2 holes in the back for lances so you can rest it in there.

And its quite loud 90db, Its certainly louder than the Stihl RE129 that Ive also tested "71db".

Best looking pressure washer I've seen. Great Design.

Final Verdict: 5/5
This is the top of the line Michelin Pressure Washer that is made in Italy.

By the famous Annovi Reverberri brand, it has excellent cleaning capabilities, anything from concrete to car to windows and patio no problem, comes with a tonne of accessories and build quality is excellent. Comes with an excellent 5 years Warranty, not many machines on the market offering that.

It's loud and heavy but its a small price to pay for a great machine and also at $999 is more expensive than your average electric pressure washer, but this is due to the high quality brass pump head that should last a long time if taken care of, probably 10 years plus, which then justifies the initial outlay.

Highly recommended.
