Miele Compact Steam Oven DGC 7840 HC Pro

Great oven, had descaling issues which are hopefully solved now – In general a great product and we love using it. However we had an annoying issue with descaling. You can't turn off mandatory descaling and or descaling cycle interrupted with 9 minutes to go in a 41 min cycle, no way to get around it. We only fill it with filtered water, so we thought descaling shouldn't be necessary at all. During a service visit from Miele the technician explained it is designed to run on normal tap water and i shouldn't fill with filtered water. That caused a problem that was fixed during the visit.

So far we didnt need to descale after that visit, I trust it is sorted now.
