A wonderful combination oven!!! – As a lifelong Miele fan I bought this oven with high expectations. And gladly, it continues to amaze me day after day. The fancy touch screen makes it easier to access the features and control the time and temperature. It is a perfect choice of oven for a modern family. Show details
Loving this oven – Bought this oven about 5 years ago directly from Miele and absolutely loving it. Perfect for someone like me who enjoys cooking and baking and trying new dishes. Can't beat the Miele quality when it comes to Ovens Show details
Poor Service – Purchased Oven in 2013, used steam function 4 times when error message came up. This resulted in a call out for service repair. Relevant part in oven - steam regulator - had completely burnt out!!! This after four uses and following instructions. Repair man suggested I contact Miele as he felt it was a manufacturing fault, after 4 calls of… Read more
approximately 15 mins duration listening to a recorded message I received no joy as of course - out of warranty!!
Not happy, poor customer service.
SHOCKING customer service – Have had nothing but grief with this machine. Have logged FOUR service calls and had the same issues as the other review- the machine constantly gives a water error message. The serviceman doesn't appear to understand the machine and I've on,y ever had three responses to my service requests. Waste of money and we are considering completely pulling… Read more
the machine out- totally ridiculous! When it works it does steam wonderfully So many issues. Only works one out of every 10 times, water error and now the face plate doesn't lift! Truly awful customer service- Miele don't care AT ALL
Poor attention to detail and customer service – Received oven and one of the steamer trays was missing so called Miele and they sent a replacement quickly. Once the oven was installed, used it and it came up with an error about a water fault. On inspection I realised the water condensate container was broken and the water container had a loose piece that would snap off easily. Called Miele and… Read more
they said they would post out replacements. After not receiving them, called again and it appears there is no record of the call. This is EXTREMELY disappointing as I currently have a $6000 oven in my kitchen that I cannot use. I have other Miele appliances that I am very happy with, and have recommended, so am disappointed with their lack of care. Functions, easy to use, great size Poor customer service. Flimsy water containers when you consider the cost of the appliance
Great oven but we had lots of problems with it when first installed – We love this oven and use it a lot, after getting to know what to use it for and how to use it to best advantage. We did however, have lots of problems initially with the fascia panel not opening properly to fill up the water reservoir. After a Miele service call, the technician took the oven away, then a few weeks later brought a new one, which… Read more · 3
had a similar problem. They tried to repair the new one after installing it, and then left the new one with us even though it was not working properly, but we then insisted they come back and take it away again. They then brought it back after replacing the faulty part, but they had not installed the part properly, and the fascia panel would not open completely. They wanted to leave it with us, but we told them to take it away again and fix it, and not bring it back until it had been fixed and properly tested. They eventually brought it back in full working order, and since then we have been happy with it. Apparently the faulty part is quite common in this new model oven.
Aside from this we have been very happy that we purchased the combi oven with the larger internal capacity. Flexible cooking options, easy to clean. Faulty part when new, several attempts to resolve, took a couple of months until we had a properly functioning oven. Disappointing given the $6000 cost of the oven.
Miele Steam Oven - a real Lemon – We reluctantly purchased this oven over the Gaggenau steamer oven. We discovered there was a design fault with the water carriage unit. Miele Melbourne assured us the problem had been addressed. Unfortunately we found this wasn't the case with our unit and by the third use we noticed the carriage started to stick and by the ninth use it had… Read more
completely seized.
After a number of calls to service we finally had the unit picked up for return to workshop repair. We still had to chase Miele to have the unit repaired. Unfortunately Miele Australia service has fallen away over the past 10 years and follow up with customers has also fallen off.
We own several properties that have a number of Miele products and have had very good wear and usage. As Miele is supposedly a premium appliance manufacturer it very dissappointing to find the customer support in Australia isn't premium.
I understand all Brands have problems , however Miele should take note that customers who spend $6000 on an oven are generally savvy and often do research prior to investing this sort of money. I strongly recommend Miele be transparent and up front with Prospective customers and don't treat them with contempt.
My advice to anyone considering this oven look seriuosly at all the other brands including Gaggenau, Bosch, AEG, Diedetrich etc.
Had Miele been up front on my initial enuiry i would have waited and definately bought the Gaggenau even though it was substantially more expensive.
We feel we now own a very expensive CLOCK. Preprogrammed menu - very limited Front faicure jams - design fault - poor follow up service
we have the same problem with the water carriage, i think it was caused by design faults of the electric circult or seals.
