Miele KM 6350 LPT

Nothing special – Don't waste your money on a Miele induction cooktop - they just don't last, so you'll only have all their fancy features for 1 or 2 years & then kaching you have to fork out $2000 to fix it or $5000 to buy another one. Who needs the hassle?

Terrible and unreliable! – I have used the Meile induction cooktop for more than two years and can confidently say that this machine has a serious design flaw with regards to its control system. The touch control will not start when needed! It will frequently say a vessel fails induction test by a 'F' on the cooktop - I had changed numerous induction vessels and this trouble will recur. I have cleaned and cleaned the cooktop to a real sparkle, used tons of high end cleaning products, checked every connection but the only thing that resolves it is sprinkling water over the 'Miele' symbol and smearing it evenly. Laughable it may seem, the cooktop controls will come to life with this manoeuvre. Oh the funny instruction manual - the machine has one of the worst user-unfriendly programming of the controls - you have to use a combination of numbers in various rows which is akin to assembly language programming of computers! In addition to all these, the cooktop will, without any warning, reduce the heat levels (acts like a super-chef) on whatever position it likes in the middle of cooking. I found this activity crazy - many dishes will be spoilt by this. This is a horrible design flaw - makes me think if this is indeed the Miele brand. Such poor engineering and design is a shame to the manufacturer. And to top it all off, the technician from Meile had fit it in such a wrong manner that it did not get the power, another one of his esteemed colleagues had to be called in to fix it. Until these horrible defects are rectified, I suggest users to avoid this induction cooktop. When it works it does heat and help cook! Never starts easy; Horrible touch controls; Has a mind of its own - will reduce heat without any notice;

Best choice! – love the way it cooks so so fast with the boost touch easy to use and so easy to clean it.never look around for any other brands when I know a be happy with my Miele products.thanks Miele for your best ! Beautiful design and so easy to use,and most important for me no little pieces to wash like gas cooktops.
