dry next cycle. Some loads take 10hrs of start stop cooling before semi dry. To make matter worse it then stopped heating. Had a tech come out from Miele and replace the board hoping that would fix all the issues but NO it’s still a lemon. At the stage where I would never buy another Miele product after the horrible dismissive behaviour from the manufacturer. As all other reviews state This dryer is not fit for purpose. We are giving ours to hard garbage and going to Bosch.

What a big mistake by Miele, obviously very little or no product testing for more than 5 minutes – Purchased 8 years ago at H.N. as a package, wanted the best product going how can you go wrong with Miele!!! machine if lucky does one load of drying then god forbid dont ask it for more as it dies and tells you to clear airways etc. I remove the condenser every 2 weeks the wife cleans both sets of filters every time it is used without fail, i have even pulled it out into the middle of the laundry to get better airflow. I have cleaned out the centrifugal fan wheels and bottom drain tray to pump? Reading all the reviews I have ONE question for "Miele is there a 100% guaranteed Fix for this machine" I am an electrician and refrigeration mechanic with experience in the white goods area as well, I have seen cheap air conditioners released with issues were the manufacturer has had to replace them with a fit for purpose unit at the manufacturers cost. Does this not apply here.

No Issues until today – I've owned this dryer for 7 years without issues until today. I bought it as a package with the Miele washing machine for $3600. We clean the airways after each use so we don't get the beeping that everyone complanes about. The only issue is now it won't heat and the cooling down light flashes. Took it into Miele today for repairs, so we'll await the fault and cost. Other than that, no dramas. Show details

Great reliable drier (so long as you clean the condenser unit regularly) – A really good drier - heavily used since 2012 and still going strong with no issues. You do have to clean the condenser unit every 6 months or so, not just the lint filters, or you get the problem others describe - ie the clean out airways light coming on, beeping and shutting down. Try Cleaning the Sensor Probe – There is a probe under the crescent shaped filters pointing out to the right hand side. Make sure that this is clean as dust and fluff build up causes sensor not work correctly. Also be sure to clean condenser regularly. Also the element,accessed by removing the rear panel, may need cleaning as fluff builds up in the element. Once these are all done dryer works a treat.

Doesn’t dry clothes – Dryer turns itself off before clothes are fully dry no matter the setting. It gets them about 3/4 dry which is something I suppose. I would not but this brand ever again, I have to hang the clothes on a clothes rack to finish drying them - huge waste of time. My last cheapo second hand dryer where you just set a time was WAY better. I can’t even sell this expensive piece of useless metal, I wouldn’t want to rip someone else off. Show details

The dryer that DOES NOT DRY anything! – Constantly beeps despite frequently cleaning, with cleaning warning lights. Zero Stars would be too low a rating!! – Constant beeping, telling me to clean out the filters WHICH I DO CONSTANTLY!!! I have followed the manual in an effort to trouble shoot, but nothing works. Based on other reviews, if I call Miele to send someone out, it will just cost me $$$, with no resolution. Don't buy Miele again!!

Worst dryer ever – We have the same issue as everyone. The dryer beeps after only a few minutes operation, no matter how well you clean all of the filters. We did have a service call out but that was useless. One of the worst experiences with an appliance we have ever had. So disappointed because we paid big bucks to purchase it. Even more inconvenient since we have a very large family.

Big piece of trash – This is the worst dryer!! Do NOT buy. It does not dry clothes but incessantly beeps at you to “clean out airways”. I’ve done everything in the manual including cleaning the condenser or plinth filter or whatever the hell you want to call it.

Miele T7944 – I thought I would give Miele another chance, I switched from a T model, it constantly turned itself off, the drain water pump broke, and forever asking my to clean out airways. Note I clean all filters and lint traps after every load, it makes no difference. Upgraded to a W model, after 1 year, what do you know beeps and warnings to clean out airways. Miele’ T 7944 C Tumble Dryer – I cannot believe that a company like Miele’ can manufacture such a dud tumble dryer and have the audacity to market it, All our white appliances are Miele’ products. Miele should replace this dryer with something that works.

Useless dryer, beeping constantly – This dryer was a waste of money. Constantly beeping over nothing, can barely get one small load of clothes dry a day-if that. Constantly cleaning the filters but it’s still saying to clean them!! Thank goodness it’s discontinued

still wouldn't dry, and didn't even collect any water in the condenser water tank!... so I took it to another service agent 200km away (previously had other big problems with local one so didn't really trust them!) They again charged a fee and said it had nothing wrong with it!... it hasn't dried a garment since.  .. it always starts,  then anything from 1 minute to 20 minutes later it beeps and says it's finished... and all clothes are still wet. In a slightly warm humid drum -this happens on every setting. Also,  a big fault complaint... in desperation,  I try use the warm air minute counter, this doesn't even work! - set it for 50 minutes,  and it's beeping finished in 5 minutes!

Keeps beeping after cleaning airways repeatedly – Same problem as everyone else. I clean the airways, clean the filter, empty the water and it still beeps after a few minutes. Even on the first load. I’m having to treat this dryer better than my children! Absolute, monumental waste of money for something I only use during wet weather. Never again.

Terrible – The drier beeps constantly, the filters are all cleaned. It’s a piece of garbage and it’s actually a hassle to own. Expensive, but useless. Constantly beeping, clothes always damp. Hopeless

Miele Dryer – T8823c Having the exact same problem...I’ve had the motherboard replaced another $700 and its still doing it. Put it on 5 mins later clean air filter. Absolutely so disappointing would not recommend this dryer at all. Anyone got any suggestions

Doesn’t dry the clothes and starts beeping not long after I press start! – I’m so disappointed with this purchase paid a lot of money and purchased from Harvey Norman we were assured it was the best out there! All it does is keep saying clean filter and won’t dry the clothes out I have use for a dryer sometimes daily and it’s so frustrating, the clothes/sheets/towels begin to smell because they are sitting in the dryer wet! Stops after a few minutes - so over it! – The beeper goes off after a few minutes of drying and alert saying to clear filters. The filters are always clear. Washing never dries. very happy. However this dryer has been nothing short of disappointing. Would not recommend Miele dryers.

Works about 2% of the time – To begin with, the dryer door is stiff - in order to get it closed and attempt to start working to begin with it is extremely fiddley and takes a few goes. Poor product – I agree with the previous poster. This dryer beeps all the time after only a couple of minutes and doesn't dry the clothes properly. I am really disappointed for such an expensive product.
