This model is a grade A stinker. I contacted Miele and the best they would do is offer a small discount on a new item. Go with Bosch!

I know extremely frustrating, They also told me to clean filters etc, which has been done regularly, I had the Miele repair person replace the sensor at my cost, It made no difference, clean out airways and continual beeping continued, i have a friend who has the next model up from this and they have the same issue. Miele dryer trait. No actual solution has been offered from manufacturer, even if they said sorry this is an issue and accepted it,

Hi, our machine was doing exactly as you describe, my husband took the back cover off and cleaned out the build up of fluff/lint around the heating element and heat sensor. The dryer seems to be working now but not guaranteeing it’s a long term fix to the problem which should not occur in the first place if Miele designed per purpose and stand by their product as they say they will. Thank you for your support. Did the same yesterday. Today took the complete front off. Door and all. Found secret sensor .All covered with lint and and wet. Hopefully this will fix it. Have to wait for more wet cloth to test.

I booked a Miele Technician to come and fix my Miele Dryer and he came. As all lint filters were clean , the Relay board for Heater was suspected and changed. No luck. After the Heater itself was suspected and changed. No Luck. Now it could be the Main Control board. Part NO; EPWL336-AUS. Miele Technician had none with him. Stopped all further action for the time been. Paid for the Service visit plus extra time out of my pocket. Can not throw away the Machine because it would break my heart.

Mark/ Lower Nth Shore As with many other reviews, our dryer stops shortly after starting with the clean out airways light on. We chose Miele because we wanted to select products that would last a very long time, so this is incredibly frustrating. I would rate this purchase 1/10 as it is expensive purchase with such a major design issue. Miele you are really losing clients on this one. Thank you

I bought a wall mount. There is no bracket. My dryer sits in the wall mount. Is not heavy.

I assume you mean the beep, beep, beep which is constant Joy. It says clean filters, I have constantly cleaned them. Regularly vacuum down in front of the door and rinse out the filter behind the panel at the bottom left of the dryer. The thing behaves itself for a while then beeps away again. The dryer is a lemon, bad design and I believe is now discontinued. Pity about us poor consumers who bought it based on the Miele brand name. It is a constant battle to keep the filters clean.

Hi Rob, I have not dried flannel sheets yet in the dryer. At the moment I use express for cotton sheets but they come out too crinkled and too difficult to iron. I have also tried hand iron and they come out wet so currently drying them on the line.

Elizabeth, we contacted Miele directly and insisted on replacement of the dryer, which Miele did do. It is the same model but, touch wood, it is working fine. There certainly seems to be an inherent problem with the model however for so many similar problems to be happening. Regards, Rhett
