Miele T 8433 C / T 8633 C

Didn't know we needed a dryer before getting this one. Its a T 8823 C – Due to the recent damp weather and not wanting to put clothes all over the house to dry, we went for a Miele dryer as we have had a good run with some of their other appliances. summer as we try to do the enviro thing as much as possible. There are lots of programmes and much of it is automatic - just a matter of selecting delicate, cotton or whatever and how dry. You can even get the wrinkles removed, which saves ironing. It's not bad. Hopefully, it keeps this up - if it doesn't I will post a follow up. Quick, fast, works well, and easy to use. Nothing yet, bit pricey.

MY el cheapo Hoover dryer did a better job – I bought this dryer to go with my Miele front loader that I absolutely love. I hate this dryer but even more so the service from Miele as apparently the long drying and not switching off is as a result of me not clearing out lint which is simply untrue as it is cleared after every load. I cannot reach. The lint should not be able to get to those places and it is clearly a machine fault. It either doesn't dry and tumbles for 4 hours in steam or it dries and doesn't switch off. The sensor has been replaced and they have sent a technician to defluff it so many times I have lost count. Very very disappointed and an expensive mistake purchasing this machine. Matched washing machine and sat neatly on top. Bad warranty service and blaming me for something I have no control over.

Excellent – Having the matching MIELE dryer/washing machine set has made a huge change in our wash results. sensor logic and varied specialized functions also greatly assist in this regard. It is very easy to clean, quite to run and gives perfect results every time. You can also adjust each functions drying time so you can leave some extra moisture in the clothes - either to hand or machine iron. We have put shirts through both the washer on "shirt setting" and then the dryer on 'minimum iron' setting and ended up with CREASE FREE Shirts - they went straight onto a hanger into the wardrobe, no iron in sight. We are not dryer people at all (prefer to dry on Hill Hoist in backyard) but after recently getting the complementing MIELE 3933 Frontloader (see review) we decided to get dryer also, along with stacking kit with pull out drawer. Well we are very impressed and now INSIST the towels are dryed in the Miele after every wash

- they come out so thick and fluffy! The size is great, love how easy it is to clean the lint filter in the front door. Also this is a condensor dryer, meaning it is airtight when shut an the moisture is captured in a container. My Mums old dryer had a long foil duct that had to poked out the the laundry window. The various settings are also great and then the in buit sensor then also 'customised' each cycle based on moisture levels of the laundry. Quite often a 'automatic' setting started indicating 2h30mins, then after 20 mins adjusted down to only 1h20mins...so whilst the dyer is only rated 2 stars for efficiency, the overall 'smarts' in the dryer make it more efficient cycle per cycle. VERY IMPRESSED! Prob would say price, is a lot of money to spend on drying clothes, full stop. But you are buying quality and a unit that is built to last. The various functions and sensor logic are high end features not found in cheaper models.

Excellent – I brought the matching front loader and push/pull drawer stacking kit to go with this dryer and I am NEVER going to get anything else after using them. I had another condenser dryer before and it took 2.5 hours to dry the SAME stuff that thi machine is drying in just over an hour. When I saw the remaining time left I laughed thinking sure then the buzzer when and I opened the dryer expecting the towels to still be dmp but NO they were very dry in half the time.

I am just blown away by this dryer.

I put in some underwear which would be road kill in the previous brand dryer and they came out perfect on the delicate setting.

I just love it. None but one could say the price but after actually using the dryer I would have paid more for it, knowing now what it does.
