Miele WT 2670 WPM Questions & Answers
VerifiedWT 2670 Miele. This machine came with the apartment I purchased. How do I get it to do a cold wash?
Select the program that you want eg 'dark' the use the (-) minus button and reduce temp until you get to 'COLD'
Thank you!
Occasionally the spin and drain sometimes does not remove all the water from the load. Can you please advise what could be causing this Michael

My Wash/dryer is blowing air all the time. What is wrong?
WT2670 machine is locked anc I can’t unlock it despite turning machine off. Any ideas?
Open the square panel at the bottom, I suspect the yeloow plastic tag is hiding. Give it a tug and that should open the door. It's the manual solution to opeing the door if a wash is in flight mode.
I don't seem to be able to access the language program and install English. How do I do it as all the instructions are in a language i do not understand.
Can you tell me when this model was first produced.. mine needs brushes replaced and wondering how long I have had it to see if worth fixing?
our machine indicated a blockage at the inlet hose. we cleared this but are now getting an alarm and a picture of a tap indicating an inlet fault. there is no longer a blockage and the machine will fill but the alarm will come on at some stage of the cycle and the cycle will consequently stop.

I do not wish to use the lock code 125 every time I use the machine. The machine is used by others and they may not use the code. How do I get rid of the need to use the code .ie. remove the code permanently. thank you.
Glad to help.. When the system lock has been activated, you have to enter a code (125) when the machine is on. On settings Menu, choose Activate, you should see a picture of a lock, select activate. A request for a code appears (125) Using the + or - button scroll to the number 1 and press ok for each number you enter now do the same for 2 and 3.
Assuming that you already know the above, to deactivate the lock, Proceed as for activating the lock.
Give it a try and best of luck.
I had a problem with accidentally changing the language to one I didn't know. Fortunately I had a language converter on my iPhone and was able to get back to English. Phew was I relieved.

Bernie. Thanks for your advice. We have o problem unlocking machine with 125 code The problem is we do not wish to use the code each time we use the machine and want to delete the code deactivate step . For many years and from new the machine did not ask for the code . Recently it changed its mind and also changed the language- we corrected that back to English. The instruction book tells how to deactivate but not delete the code permanently. Thanks again..David.
What to do when it says waterproof?
Miele washer-dryer 2670. How do you change the language? The manual offers advice but is of no use. The only two words which appear in English are, 'standby and memory'. Pressing OK for either, simply reverts to another language.
Hi, my machine is currently in storage as I sold my place and am currently flatting until I buy a new place, so I couldn't try on mine. I see you have read the manual - assuming our machines have slightly different ones (a running change between years), it said switch on the machine, then "Settings" with a <flag> next to it will come up. Press <OK>, then the menu comes out with "Language <flag>", press <OK>. The Language sub-menu should have several different languages, use <+> and <-> to scroll through them until you find "English," then <OK>, a tick should appear next to it.
Assuming you have tried this - in my manual, Standby and Memory are two of the last few settings; I do remember Language coming up on mine. Could you please advise what words/options come up when you first turn the machine on and with Settings displayed and <OK> is clicked? Is it currently showing a different language to English?
Thanks StickshiftNZ. Turning the machine on, the screen shows ''svolit program'' and then ''nastaveni'' appears with it, with a flag. The last word is highlighted. Pressing OK, the screen shows three words, ''Zpet''; ''jazyk'' (highlighted with flag; ''denni cas''. I can scroll through these words to others and I suspect they are a list of choices. What I think is missing, is 'settings/menu' screen which would enable me to find a language screen.
HI Ellerslee, it appears the language is set to Czech. "jazyk" is "language" in Czech, "Zpet" is "back". In my one/manual, "Language" has a flag. If Jazyk is "language" and has a flag, then this is it! Click OK on it, and it should have English listed as either "Anglictina" or "Anglicky". Sorry it took me a while to get back to you - I was waiting for ProductReview to send me an email to advise you've replied, but it didn't. Tell me how you get on. Incidentally - your machine - did you get it second hand, just wondering why the machine isn't defaulting to English like mine is. It's possible that it may have been a Miele brought in from overseas by a previous owner?
Thanks StickShiftNZ. The choices on the screen do not include ''Anglictina or Anglicky" . I don't know anything about the history of the machine. We are in a holiday rental and the rental agents do not know anything about the machine. To their credit, they allowed us to use a basic machine in another empty apt. But this has become a challenge and I want to solve it. I can't see anything in the manual or on the machine, which would enable it to be defaulted to factory settings. It may become just one of life's little mysteries!! Thankyou for your interest and attempt to help.
OK - since both of us accept this challenge...under that "Jazyk <flag>", in the sub-menu, what words are showing? Since Jazyk is "language," from memory it will have quite a few options. I'll bet some Czech person who rented that accommodation changed it over from English.
Hello StickShiftNZ. Problem solved. Miele talked me through the process. "nastaveni" means "settings" and clicking OK on that twice into other screens took me to language and then English. Then the whole úniverse' opened up for me! The machine is now functioning. Thanks for your interest.
Thank you StickShiftNZ you got me out of a fix as I inadvertently somehow managed to change the language setting to Czec and your answer helped me sort it out in a matter of minutes. Many thanks. BernieNorwich
