I want another one! – I'm a creature of habit and have vegemite on crumpets down to a fine art, having eaten that for breakfast every morning for 20yrs. This toaster toasts my crumpets perfectly every time in one "toast". Every other toaster I have to toast them 1.5 or 2 times and damnit, ain't nobody got time fo dat. I'm late every morning so my crumpets better be… Read more ·  3

browned to slightly burnt in one go or less.

This toaster delivers every single time.

Only thing is the sliding thingy that you push down to toast snapped off. But it's cool. I just use by thumbnail.

But they're discontinued. So I shall continue to use my thumb and get browned beautiful crumpets, pronto!

Not OK – I bought a 2 slice toaster and very disappointed with the toaster. Burns very fast at even very low settings. I expected good result for the brand and money we paid for the toaster but unfortunately not as expected, cheaper brand the one we had previously worked very fine and lasted for years.

How hard can it be to manufacture a toaster? – Pretty hard apparently! Takes forever to toast on setting 1. Can't put it on any other setting as it burns, unless it is a single slice, then it burns. Not tall enough for high tin bread. Apart from it being green...it has no redeeming features. Probably a victim of outsourcing to cheap overseas companies. Very disappointed.

Garbage is an understatement for this crap - Do Not Buy This!!!!!!!!!! – Bought this from Bing Lee was told its a great company and just as other reviewers have said it would burn the toast no matter what. I initially started reading the manual thinking I am doing something wrong (I mean its a toaster after all) but I was doing things correctly and my toast still came out burnt. It got to the point where I would… Read more

manually hit the cancel button resulting in either uncooked or burnt Toast.

Overpriced piece of junk - into the bin it went. My homebrand taster 7$ toaster has been 10 times better.

Burnt toast – It burns my toast constantly but despite stopping it half way through and turning it it still only burns a part of it and leaves the rest barely cooked. Rubbish.

Unbelievably bad bad toaster – This toaster is easily the worst toaster I have ever used. I have been using a sunbeam toaster for the last 20 years and it was a magic toaster. I paid $89 and will have to buy another it is so slow because the wires inside are so underpowered. It is complete rubbish. Bought it because it looked smart and thought it would have to be good if you paid that much. Wrong Wrong Wrong! Colour Everything

Rubbish – Purchased online liked the appearance. Was very disappointed when it arrived. Its made out of super flimsy plastic and a really a thin sheet of something that (I guess) resembles metal. In the flesh it looks really cheap and nasty. It's super touchy: anything over the '3' setting burns, anything below about '2 3/4' is still soft. I ordered a… Read more

It works well for me – I read the bad reviews and thought this gift would turn out a dud but I've been using it for a few weeks now and I love it. I like crispy toast and don't mind waiting for it. I have the toaster set at the lowest setting. It never pops up burnt, but sometimes one side is a bit too light, so I flip it over and toast it for another 20 seconds or so.… Read more ·  2

This makes it crispy and evenly toasted - just how I like it.

I find the toaster doesn't burn the bread as much as other toasters I've had - like sumbeam and kambrook - it just cooks it darker slowly, so that even when it looks burnt it's more a very dark brown and not black around the edges so it's still edible.

I had to learn how to control the settings and flip the bread to get toast the way I like it. I've never had a toaster before this one where I could get perfect toast all the time. Makes good toast need to use lowest setting. One side of toast underdone.

Another triumph of form over function – Sure it looks slick, if you like that sort of thing, but this toaster is on par with Russell Hobbs for its ability to take forever to turn perfectly good bread into inedible toast. It is painfully slow, it dries the bread out, it either burns or undercooks, and even when it burns the toast it still somehow manages to make it lukewarm, not hot. It's a toaster. It has one job. It still can't get it right. Looks alright Makes awful toast

The worst toaster in the world – Dries toast out like you wouldn't believe. I bought it as a replacement to my beloved Tefal Avanti Elite which after many years of good service (and perfect toast) the handle broke off. I'm throwing the Morphy out and will superglue the handle back on. I can't understand that toaster technology has been around for ages, why is any toaster… Read more

above $50. It's just like fridges - been around for 60 years and they're still expensive. Ridiculous. It was 15% off Bad toast performance

Have only ever had it on the lowest setting and still manages to burn every piece of bread I put in it. Going in the bin after only six months.
