Morphy Richards Accents Rose Gold 4 Slice Range

Only cooks top half of bread – We received this toaster along with the matching kettle about 3 years ago for Christmas. Neither have impressed. The toaster only cooks the top half of the bread and the browning dial does not provide any consistency. The kettle had a whistle once boiled.. this stopped working almost immediately… 3 years later it has started working again. For the price point I am disappointed. Show details

Short life span – We have had 2 of these. The first one never worked and was returned straight away, the second one has just stopped working at 3 years. This toaster looks great and when working is no problems at all just not the longest life. Show details

We think It's A Fire Hazard – Having received the Morphy Richards Accents 4 slice toaster as a present. We'd love to know what you toast with the 'Browning Control' above 4 as we've toasted many breads thick-thin, crumpets etc that would be burnt to a crisp or set on fire even at the 4 setting? Generally we have to set the controls around the 3.4 to 3.8 clicks and sometimes the bread burns at those settings. It looks pretty but toasts unevenly. Show details

Waste of money – Purchased this toaster from Harvey Norman Tweed Heads NSW 4/3/21 in a combo package with matching kettle and have been thoroughly disappointed with both. The toaster is very slow and doesn't cook evenly. Only the top cooks initially, then you have to turn it over and cook again, then when cooked the toaster throws the toast out onto the bench or floor. Show details

Looks beautiful however for price too slow..regret buying it – Seriously a kmart toaster is more efficient..Too slow for everything and flings thin toast out onto floor..Do not recommend.looks pretty but for price not good at all.Too expensive and slow. Show details

Looks great but toasts unevenly – Looks fantastic which is why we bought but doesn’t toast the bread evenly, the top of the bread toasts quicker so to get the whole piece of toast done it burns the top half. I have had to toast half way then take it out and turn the bread upside down - not ideal for a $100 toaster.  Show details

works well – More expensive than some other brands but purchased after trying two other cheaper toasters. Both kept tripping electrical safety switch and did not toast bread efficiently. No problems with this unit. It looks smart and more attractive than others and matches my kettle beautifully. I am happy with this purchase  Show details ·  1

Gorgeous looking with a bit of a forced finish! – This is a gorgeous toaster, everyone has commented on how it looks. It toasts everything fine so far so no issues there. But when it’s finished it flings the toast up a bit high and sometimes it flies out! Not a big issue for me, but you have to be ready for it to finish. It’s so easy to clean. Another issue is the cord comes out from the front and then wraps underneath the toaster to come out the back which makes the lead very short.  Show details
