toaster comes with a two year guarantee. However, 13 days is a dismally short life span for any small electrical appliance. I will be returning the toaster to the retailer or to the manufacturer Dimplex Australia and requesting a full monetary refund. I do not intend to exchange the toaster for a replacement as the manufacturing quality appears to be substandard.
