MSI MAG Pano - The fish tank you've been looking for – Big beautiful pano PC chassis that has everything you would want in a showcase unit. Small enough that its not in the way, large enough for perfect temps. A must have if you are going with an MSI branded build! Show details
Beautiful, functional and affordable - but with some cable shame in the back – I have the white version of this case. Purchased this along with the MSI B650M Project Zero board to ensure compatibility with that mainboard's back connect feature. The case certainly looks very attractive (f you like the RGB fishbowl aesthetic like I do). I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of the case too, considering the very… Read more
afford price. Everything feels very solidly put together with good quality materials. The included RGB fans are quiet and look great. Extra points for including reverse blade fans for the side intakes so the fan struts don't get in the way of the lighting.
This a mATX case, so it is compact. None the less, there is plenty of room in the interior for whatever components you might want to install. Shouldn't have any problems with most graphics card, except perhaps the truly massive 3-slot monsters like some models of eg. RTX 4090 (but if you're putting together a build with one of those, maybe go full ATX). Accomodates my RTX4070 with room to spare. You've also got room for a 360mm radiator on the top. The depth of the case means there's plenty of room for that, even if you have very tall RAM.
I really appreciate the small controller board on the back side to manage the fan power and RGB and that this has it's own power source via SATA power, rather than trying to run multiple fans on a hub through a single motherboard fan connecter as some cases do.
Couple of minor gripes - the compartment for the power supply is very cramped, somewhat difficult to work in and is almost impossible to avoid becoming a rats nest of cables. Aesthetically this is OK because you never see it, but it did make the build a little annoying at times. Speaking of rats nests - an RGB heavy build like this has a A LOT of cables to hide beneath the rear panel, and this is even more the case when using a back connect motherboard as I did. An extra few centimetres of space in the rear compartment for cable management would've been very welcome.
Overall though, I am very pleased with the finished build. Looks great and cooling performance is excellent. Would recommend if you're looking at a back connect motherboard.
