MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED

342C OLED delivered on the promise. It was easy to assemble and install. The MSi app made choosing settings a breeze. It also has features to protect the OLED from issues like burn in, thus protecting the longevity of the product. To date it has met my expectations. I think the primary strength of the monitor is its amazing colour depth, particularly with the dark backgrounds. My only wish for improvement relates to blue light intensity. Applying blue light filters dims some of the vibrancy … but that is blue light filters in my experience.

My concern with the monitor is the issue of burn in that OLED monitors have. There is MSi software that helps with this and it has reminders to apply it. This is a bit annoying with its regularity, recommended at every 4 hours or so of use. It takes a couple of minutes and its done. If this wasn't so frequent I would have given the product 5 stars. The blacks are so sweet, but I also don't want burn in. So for me the hassle is worth it, but it might not be for everyone.

I think this product is great for anyone looking for a quality gaming monitor. 4k is awesome.
