Navman EZY200 - So Ezy to use, So Ezy to update - Minor issues only – I have ownd my Navman EZY200 since 2013. I was fortunate enough to get the Bonus Lifetime Maps updates with it all for under $100 - absolute bargain! I have never had any problems updating the maps or the software. You dont need any account so no need to log in to their web site. The GPS works just fine but sometimes slow to pick up GPS signal. Voice guidance is loud and clear. The alerts and warnings are helpful, adequate and keep you out of trouble. The windshield mount is great. Minor Issues as follows: Updates are infrequent - usually only twice a year. GPS does not work in tunnels (naturally). When answering phone using the built-in bluetooth it gets stuck on the phone call and so cant disconnect or go back to navigation. Touch screen could be more sensative but much better than my previous Navman MY50T. Battery doesnt hold charge so must be plugged into cigarette lighter at all times.
But seriosly I dont know why other reviewers have anything to complain about. As they say - User problem. Unfortunately most happy users have no reason to post a review. hence you only hear about the complaints.
If you see these selling used make sure it has the Bonus Lifetime Maps updates. But otherwise great choice!
I check every 3 to 4 months. For last 3 years I have seen only 2 updates per year. Definitely only 2 updates released in 2017. Last one was 07/17. Pretty slack really! Would help if you had an email notification service. You have email addresses from lifetime map registrations. So easy to set up and would dramatically improve your service.

Hi Amayzingone, Sorry about that. Don't worry, I'll pass this on to our marketing team as a feedback.
Thanks for your time, much appreciated.

Hi Amayzingone, Unfortunately the email feedback regarding map updates was overwhelmingly negative, and we decided to end that process. the best way to keep up to date with map updates is via our Facebook page as listed above.
I do apologize for the inconvenience, but this was something the vast majority of our customer had overwhelming support for not continuing with.
Please note, you will also get notifications to check for updates on your EZY200 every 90 days from your last map update.
Thanks, Senior Navman Support
Auwfull service – This GPS works, buy attempting to update the lifetime maps is next to impossible. When you ring for help they promise to assist, but you end up back where you started. I gave up in the end & have switched to a Tom Tom, where it was easy to update the maps, & their service when you ring is very good
Don't bother! – Don't waste your money on this product. Connecting to satellite can take a number of minutes so you can never be in a hurry. Warnings for turns are often too late and can be misleading. Our unit is just out of warranty and has died...screen will not come on at all. Will be buying a different brand this time.
Buy a Tom Tom – I bought the Navman EZY 200 as an entry level unit, just to have when needed and thought the bluetooth option would be good for hands free talking on the phone when needed. Unfortunately the unit somehow lost all it's memory and my saved places, then wouldn't save any new locations or allow me to edit the ones I had. I took it back, thinking I just had a bug in the unit, the new one allowed me to save about 4 locations, now won't at all. I don't mind it turning on when I turn on the car, I just wish it would turn off when I turn off the car. I have to reach up and remember to switch it off or it just stays on until the battery runs out. Just a bit annoying.
The bluetooth doesn't work that well and I stopped using it after only a short time. It also has an annoying feature that if you have the bluetooth volume turned up so you can take phone calls, then the volume of all the various bells and beeps and noises made by the unit are turned up as well. I like navigating without the voice, but can't when I had the volume up for potentially taking a call while navigating.
Don't buy this, what ever you do.
Jeff So far, nothing
