Review NEC sbs645 WGKT10A15 – This fridge owned since new: Quiet (very) , efficient (hardly notice the cost ), control to adjust freezer fridge separately and some mechanism to control odours in the Fridge which works. No need to plumb for Ice as it has ice maker ,vegetable area. and meat area.. Has a sleep mode which I presume is for when away holidays.( cant find manual) . Amazing technology for its age maybe 20 years now . Never had a problem with it. Its as quiet as the Mitsubishi MR-EX562W-N-A which is top range inverter and costs same to run. I cant fault either of these. Japanese technology at its best.

Long lasting side by side fridge and freezer – Bought this fridge over 17 years ago. It has been a great fridge and freezer (side by side). I only had to replace one seal for the fridge side of the door. Its a pity NEC are no longer producing them.

Great fridge – I had this fridge for 10 years. Unfortunately I had to sell it due to moving. Over the years of having this fridge it has never let me down once. The space inside both sides were fantastic and I couldn’t fault it.

Hasnt skipped a beat in 13years !! – Cant understand why people would criticise this fridge. It is still going today after 13 years , shifted it to my new house from the old in 2009 and it still works and looks as good as new. It is definitely not noisy and it is a shame NEC closed down as they made some brilliant products for a good price and the best service support . Also have a 8kg NEC washing machine & microwave oven of the same vintage and working as good as new.

Terrible – pretty bad ,bought in 2005 ,very noisy from the start ,freezer fan very noisy ,fridge fan is ok ,so it seems expensive to run ,no rear ajustment, as front does not lower will make a fair tool cuboard inside freezer caseing cracked in 2 places ,freezer fan stoped working , front dig panal does not work ,noise is bad
