I booked flights from Perth to Geraldton/return same day. Day before my flights Nexus advised via sms that my return flight would be delayed by 4 hours which no longer fitted into my plans. I had to cancel my planned business day in Geraldton and needed to request a refund. I was changed a cancellation fee of $70 even though this circumstance was… Read more

not my fault. Next day, I called Nexus to follow up on receipt of the refund and told would take 3 to 5 business days to be credited back to the same account. I asked for any reason for the delay and the blame was passed on to the bank? I cannot understand how Nexus can process a debit to my bank account immediately on purchase of their product, however processing a direct credit back to the same account would take 3-5 business days, laying blame blaming the bank does not make sense. I am unable to identify in the Terms and Conditions or website any policy in relation to time-frame for processing/providing refunds. I feel charging a fee of $70 given the cancellation was not of my choice and withholding my refund for flights for up to a week is unreasonable and totally unfair!. I believe Nexus customers should not be disadvantaged from waiting unnecessarily for funds to be received back into the same bank account and within a reasonable timeframe.

Just flew from Kununurra to Darwin with Nexus Airlines and I have to say – absolutely faultless experience from start to finish. the whole experience felt professional and well-run. It’s clear these guys take pride in their service and actually care about their passengers.

Compared to Airnorth, which has been nothing but delays, cancellations, and vague excuses every time I’ve flown with them, Nexus is a breath of fresh air. Airnorth has been unreliable to the point where it’s hard to plan anything around them – not to mention the poor customer service and lack of accountability when things go wrong.

Nexus is proving that regional travel can be done right. I’ll be flying with them again without hesitation, and I’d recommend anyone in the Top End or Kimberley region do the same.

Perth Airport a few weeks ago). The aircrafts are spacious and modern, staff are friendly and accommodating, and inflight service is great. Nexus makes an effort to include elements that heed to value and support of community and local business, which is a nice touch! e.g use local produce and food suppliers in the food they serve, include artwork of locally based children on their cups etc. Their customer service is also excellent, I required a flight change on the resident fare scheme and this was sorted in a matter of minutes without charge. Unless you really want to/need to use your Qantas points, boycott flying with Qantas (impersonable and unreliable) and make sure you fly with Nexus!!

My international flight was delayed so then just missed my connecting Nexus flight and was stuck in Perth overnight. I left a message on their phone number and they rang me first thing in the morning and got me on the next AM Nexus flight home. Excellent service and so helpful Show details

On time and much more reliable than Qantas – On time. As someone who lives in Geraldton and works in Perth, Nexus has been a game changer. Nice early flight down Monday, nice late flight back Friday, and where they can control the cause, they are on time. Poor attempt as an airplane provider – Delayed flights without notice. Not servicing the Pilbara at optimal times (up Tuesday down Wednesday) then ask for govt handouts for millions of dollars. Show details

Affordable regional airline - Friendly and helpful staff, would definitely fly again with Nexus – We flew from.Kununurra to Darwin. Great airline. We would use them again. Friendly Staff, from check in and on the plane. Plane was clean, in house snacks were yummy, seats were comfortable and our bags were ready to pick up as soon as we're in the baggage haul. Best airline in Australia – I have flown to the Kimberley many times to visit family but this was my first time flying with Nexus. I was so impressed with the service and aircraft. A very pleasant experience. The crew were so friendly and the seating was comfortable with plenty of legroom, much more than some of the larger aircraft I have flown on. great, simple, food on the plane, an easy stopover in Kununurra. It was so nice to have the flight add to the trip, not just be a stressful part of getting to the location. Also, amazing to have a regional route option other than having to go through another major city/airline hub.

Great flight with Nexus between Perth and Geraldton – I flew from Perth to Geraldton and back in a day. Very comfortable flight with friendly crew. Flight time was about an hour and because the Dash-8 Q400 flies at a lower altitude there was a beautiful view of Perth, Rottnest and the coastline on the way out and the Perth Hills on the way back. Excellent service – Amazing service on the Geraldton to Perth route. Complementary food and drinks, fresh and not out of a plastic packet!
