Don't use this company if you want to get anywhere – To start off I ordered an Ola cab at 5:30 to get to work by 6:00. While traking the ride on the app he took a 5 minute detour along back streets making some rubbish excuse about traffic. When he finally came to pick me up he took another completely pointless detour adding another 5 minutes to the trip. I was late to work by 15 minutes because this guy couldn't follow the directions on the map.

the app will show that the driver is about to arrive, and when only 1-2 minutes are left, the app will change the auto and driver details, and the same process will follow for another 8-9 minutes. Calls to the drivers during this 50-minute ordeal were mostly unanswered, few refused to come when I contacted them. One even asked me to pay Rs140 while talking to me over the phone, this amount was double the amount the OLA app was showing for the ride. I refused and the driver did not turn up, I must say that the auto drivers in Madurai are the worst crooks to the extent of being called an organized gang, which I have never seen in any part of the world.
Utterly Frustrated, and after waiting for about 1 hour, I decided to book an OLA Cab. When the cab was 2 mins away, the driver called me and said he was NOT coming and asked me to cancel which I refused because I wanted to travel and I knew that cancellation would cost me. I took no action and let the booking lie there. Later, I realized there is a Cancellation Charge in my account which after such an ordeal sounded like hooliganism and extortion by OLA’s racket. I contacted support and reported this on 09/01/2024 (CRN7976949542), when no action was taken by OLA, I reported the matter again on 17/01/2024; and to my deep shock, disgust, and to my anguish no action was taken again.
Today (17/02/2024) I tried again through the OLA app and spoke to various BOTS and humans ( CRN7976949542) but no solution.
I am hopeful that the email I have sent to the grievances and the nodal officer will get appropriate attention, and I will get relief from this ordeal, harassment, and hooliganism.
Scammers – Had no issues until I ordered a ride only for it to be cancelled by the driver I was then charged a $10 cancellation fee. Upon complaining they shut me down...give these shonks a wide birth.

Charged for a ride that didn't happen – I booked a ride from MACDONALD at Moonee Ponds to 18 Peacock Street, West Brunswick, driver did not turn up they deducted $12.15, I later took a taxi. When I asked for refund they told me it was for an old payment on October 9th, I took a screen shot on statement for October 9th showing $12.14 not $12.15 they asked for which shows they lied. No show – Ola used to be good but not any more. They cancel your ride if they don’t like the distance or price they have accepted. No different to a taxi nowadays. Very ordinary.

very basic and unprofessional. There's also some non-flattering stuff online about this person and company. Raised the issue with OLA support, simply weren't interested in answering why wasn't contacted in the past about a ride that the system failed to process. Email that gets sent is an outright lie as there is no prior contact. My partner has also now received this email for a ride a few months ago so definitely something was wrong with their system. TERRIBLE – I ordered a Ola for $64.51 total fare. The next morning I had noticed an additional 3 charges; and they charged me a total of $199.51 within 4 seperate transactions. To which they explained as a “temporary hold” what a joke. I have attached pics

Useless – Ordered a ola cab this morning and no one accepted the fare. Reordered it about 7 times and nothing. Absolutely useless ended up getting a workmate to pick me up after an hour of waiting. It was about 4.45 am Monday morning.

Check your credit card transactions when using these thieves! – Charged $210.00 for a 12 minute 6km journey - driver did not end the trip! Ola customer service allegedly refunded the money to my account - liers, no such refund. Had to dispute with PayPal before I was reimbursed! Long waiting times and useless service – I would probably give zero rating. Why don’t the drivers pick their phones? When you book it, it shows driver is moving towards you, but then the wait times gets longer. And the audacity, they don’t pick their phones and sometimes they even cancel.

2 other occasions OLA tried to charge me for rides that never showed up - turned out that the drivers had gone to the wrong address. Apparently this is very common with OLA drivers who are not proficient GPS users. i have now deleted the app & will never use them again. A P Dennis.

UNKNOW DEDUCTION FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT – Ola unable to explain me why there is a deduction from my bank account without a ride taken with them , a transaction reference numbers provided to them together with other details as well. I will report the matter to police and the fair trade commissioner.
If you need help from support, forget it! – I left my belongings in Ola's car a week ago, contacted Ola via support and email (which is no longer being monitored) four times and no response!!! No phone number, no one who can help you resolve this situation. Bad service, bad!

the morning from Delhi to Dehradun, as I had to reach there urgently. **(Ref: CRN: 720680808049)** Shortly, a driver accepted the ride. He however called me and asked me to cancel the ride and he said that he will by-pass Ola and will take me to Dehradun offline, as he will not get much after paying Ola Commission. I questioned him as to why he took the booking in the first place and why shouldn’t he cancel as I will have to pay the cancellation charges! To that he didn’t respond and also didn’t cancel. I had no choice but to try to get support from the Ola Cabs. Every time I tried to report the issue via the Ola Cabs app, it gave an error saying - *’Sorry we are currently experiencing a technical issue. Please try again after sometime.’* I was getting frustrated and with no help on that end, I tried calling the support on the phone using the ‘Call Us’ Option. After several attempts (repeat several), I managed to speak with a customer service representative who asked me to cancel the ride and that they will ensure that I will not be charged cancellation charges. They also asked me to book the ride again. I did the same and a new driver picked up the ride. **(Ref: CRN: 7206890777)** It turned out that this new driver was a friend of the old driver! And they were parked next to each other. I found this out when my new driver who picked me up, passed the old driver’s car and honked, and they both laughed. The new driver also told me that he was a friend of the old driver that was holding you up! During the ride the new driver was constantly on the phone. Furthermore he was very loud on the phone. After driving a short distance he asked me to make a payment of Rs.3000 online as one of his loan payments was due by the end of today. This was weird and I said that I will pay in cash after the trip. After this he was complaining and started driving erratically. I had to hold on to the ‘grab handles’ in the car several times. He was aggressive also at times raging at other drivers and on a few occasions we narrowly missed having accidents! His Air Conditioning in the car was always set too low and he was constantly stopping me from opening the window, saying that the AC was on. I was feeling hot and sweaty during most of the trip. After driving for some time he stopped at a CNG filling station and asked me for Rs.2000 in cash as he had to get the CNG gas filled up. In order to keep him calm, I readily complied. Nearing the end of the trip he was looking a bit agitated and I was feeling uncomfortable so I decided to end the trip slightly earlier, around 7Km before my destination. This is because I feared that he might get more upset as it was nearing the office rush time. After ending the trip the driver charged me Rs. 900 in Tolls between Delhi and Dehradun! I travel this route regularly and have never paid this much in toll charges!! He definitely ripped me off, as the total fare that I paid was Rs.6100, which is the maximum I have paid via Ola Cabs for Delhi to Dehradun rides. It almost felt like he was taking revenge for his driver friend. I had to take a local 3-Wheeler to get to my destination of 7Kms :( After this experience, I am totally gutted and disappointed! I feel cheated!! The outstation Ola drivers are not reliable and in my experience cannot be trusted at all! For long journeys they encourage you to cancel the ride, as they are eyeing on the big commission that they will have to pay Ola. Moreover they come with dirty, sometimes broken, and cars with Air-conditioning that doesn’t work properly or they don’t want to use extra fuel. Ola should look into this matter seriously and ensure that this doesn’t happen again. For now, count me out of all of Ola Outstation travels!
Frustrating! – Said will be here in 5 minutes. Driver hasn’t moved for 10mins. Driver won’t answer his phone . We’ve rung 5 times. Can’t message. If we cancel we pay but he’s just not turning up & now we are going to be late for a birthday party. Very frustrating

Unreliable dishonest – One new years eve, we booked an ola cab. We paid as there system asks for . We were able to rack the cab he was 4mim away , then he cancelled without telling us , then the money was not returned, this is stealing, and in mind a intentional act. As a matter of principle we want our money back and a written apology for the dishonest behaviour.
Thieves – I booked a ride that quoted me $24=$30. The ride was short however i was charged $64 . I did the same ride with another company it cost $14. I have emailed Ola to rectify this however i am being ignored
Cheeky pricing estimates – Overpriced as hell. The estimated fare cost is always at the high end. I.e, fare will estimate $12-$19 and it will always be $18/$19. It’s their way of making you think it’s going to be a competitive price when it’s not. Stay away. Terrible service.

When I looked at the ride it was 4 times longer than I actually did. I have proof but no one wants to accept this. Every month the fee goes up, not sure how to stop or resolve this.
