Stylish and powerful! Best Home Portable Aircon in the market
1 Year update:
Cooling: 5 out of 5 - When compared to 3 other branded portable aircons I've used, this is hands down the best.
Noise: 4 out of 5 - not really that quiet but no portable aircons are really. If your watching TV, you will need to raise the volume. But its not so loud that you can't sleep (at least I can)
Durability: 5 out of 5 - (so far) just keep cleaning the filters when it tells you or do them early for longer life
Design: 5 out of 5 - looks great and moderately compact for a powerful 5.3kW Cooling power

Update: Hotter season, and it seems to keep a medium sized bedroom room within desired temperature, happy!
Cons:...
Read moreOnce the unit reaches desired temperature, it will switch off the compressor but leave the fan running, which is normal. But what is not normal is when it needs to turn back on. It seems to get stuck in a loop thinking if it needs to turn on yet or not for about 30 seconds.. during that time the fan speed will increase and decrease over and over.. very very annoying and has woken us up many times. (My guess is the thermo stat is very sensitive and the on-board computer did not cater for this - might need a firmware update to fix, if there is such a thing on this unit.) EDIT: This issue seems to have fixed itself up, I've bought a second one and I'll get back if the problem also happens on the second.
