Garbage – I purchased this oven March 2010 required rear element replacement March 2012 and now May 2013 requires timer and cut out thermastat and no parts available in Aust. for minimum 7 weeks. Would not recommend this product. An Extended Care Plan was purchased and is not worth the paper it is written on. bad extended care warranty plan

Too confusing to use and manual didnt help! – Took this oven home and plugged it in, and couldnt get any lights to go on at all, so took it back to the retailer, they told us you have to have the timer on for the oven to work, but they replaced it, and took the second one home. This time it worked, but, yes, you have to have the timer on for the oven to work and even for the light to go on! Then it was only to find out, that the timer wasnt working properly on this one, it would stop all the time. Didnt realise it was fan forced only, no conventional oven, and after it was switched off the fan went on for about 15 minutes with the the noise of an exhaust fan! I couldnt put up with listening to that every time I turned the oven off, plus not having a working timer on a new appliance, so back to the retailer we took it and we swapped it for a different brand, which I am extremely happy with. Looked attractive. Noisy fan, fan forced only, fan going for about 15 mins after oven turned off, faulty timer. Oh and the manual was rubbish!

Good – This is my first electric oven after years and years of having to cook/bake with a gas oven that leaked heat! This is also my first time having a fan forced oven and it is wonderful. The oven is heated throughout a lot more evenly (never happened with my gas) and things are so much quicker to cook! The cakes and cookies come out well too but i do wish it had an option to turn off the fan sometimes. Takes about 10mins to preheat, stylish, easy to clean, easy to use. No option to turn off fan forced setting and thereby cook with 'conventional' or 'traditional' settings. Instruction manual could be better

No 'conventional' oven setting, takes a long long time to preheat, fan remains on for up to 20 minutes after cooking has finished. Fan setting doesn't seem to work?

I need to remove the grill element to clean the oven roof and cannot find any instructions in manual or Omega web site. Also the 'bell' on the timer has gone very quiet and I can't find any information on why or how to turn it up.

It probably can't be removed since this model does seem to have only basic features only - have you tried contacting the distributor/supplier?

Thanks Shopper_Holic, I think you're probably right. I have sent an enquiry to Omega so hopefully they will reply soon. If I do get any answers I'll pass them on just in case anyone else has the same problem.

I had this and it broke down twice within 6 months. Not really happy with the product

This product is basic junk, it is confusing to use and a nightmare to clean. It also smokes out your kitchen if you roast or grill meat... I'm ditching mine and getting something that is fit for purpose.. One word - Avoid
