Love my Omega pyrolytic oven – I am thrilled with this oven. We did get it second hand but it had hardly been used. It gives a beautiful result, is reliable and has easy to read instructions. It doesn't take years to reach temperature and seems to maintain it. Unlike my previous awful oven, it does not smell or smoke and has all the features I need. I highly recommend it. Show details

Buyer Beware! – Buyer beware! If anyone is thinking of buying a self cleaning oven (that's a joke in itself when you have to remove the racks first) just don't buy OMEGA. Mine is just 2 and a half years old and has rust on the stainless steel door. Manufacturer first said it was because I lived near the coast (really, its an inside oven for goodness sake) then… Read more

came back with it was the environment! I have a stainless steel microwave (sits atop the oven), SS dishwasher, SS fridge and al the other little appliances and not one of them has rust on them.

THEN the manufacturer came back to me telling me to buy Hillmark SS cleaner - didn't work! THEN told to try Brasso - that didn't work either. To top off this sorry saga the "National Technical Manager" advised "...the developing ruse is classified as tea staining and will progree into full blown rust if not addressed"

Lodged a complaint with Consumer Protection and lo and behold this is considered a "cosmetic matter" and doesn't fall under a manufacturing fault. So Iris, suck it up and hope I don't need a new oven when this one falls apart with rust.

No more toxic oven cleaning – After cleaning our previous wall oven and paying $100 for a professional cleaner, I was not going to buy an other without a self cleaning feature. The various options for the griller in this oven alone make the upgrade worthwhile. The oven has performed well and now we are waiting to see if it lives up to the self cleaning .  Show reply
