Reliable home companion – This device is easy to use. The one-touch operation and clear display make checking my blood pressure stress-free, and the readings seem accurate and consistent. My only gripe is that the cuff might be a bit small for larger arms, but overall, it’s a reliable device for home monitoring. Show reply
In a Word: Rubbish – Omron HEM7120 The monitor worked fine for 3 months or so , then went haywire, producing erratic readings and false movement errors (code E4). Chemist Warehouse (CW), the retailer, failed to honor their guarantee but I got a full refund via Paypal. Omron is a big name in blood pressure monitors but this one was not up to scratch. Be aware that CW… Read more
was not the only problem. When contacted, Omron's manufacturer agent claimed that erratic readings was not a fault! They recommended taking three readings each time and averaging them out for a final result. Not valid: if you average out false readings you get another false reading - not an accurate one.
The problem is that, even if your buy an Omron device somewhere else (i.e. not CW), and it fails as above, it's likely you won't get your money back. The Omron agent could use the three-readings subterfuge to deny a fault, and thus refuse a valid warranty claim. My guess is that only a complete failure of the monitor would qualify for a refund (to them).
Inconsistent readings – Inconsistent readings compared to my other monitor. I took it to my doctor who said i needed to exchange. Show details

Inflates Then Deflates Without A Reading – Terrible. Paid $150 and it starts to inflate then gives up; deflating without giving a reading. Will never by Omron again. Show details

Reading not accurate – How can my BP read 189/114 and 2 mins later read 140/90 than 156/100 a minute later ??? Not confident with these readings at all. BP taken whilst sitting down !??? Took myself to hospital only to find blood work perfect! Show details
Terrible! Gives inconsistent readings – The readings would be inconsistent- sometimes way too high and at other times way too low. Doctor’s readings would not even be close to the machine. Worse that it not working because either you end up panicking or being too complacent. Very disappointing. Show details

Where do I find the DC6V adaptor? – On the advice of my GP, I bought an automatic Omron BP monitor, model HEM-7142T1 from Terry White on 6th July 2023 $103.49 on special and it is currently run on batteries. There is no battery indicator on it so I am not confident if the readings are accurate. This device is sold without an adapter despite there being provision behind the monitor.… Read more
Finding this adapter is an absolute nightmare! We thought it was available on e-Bay but when queried the seller was unsure if it would be suitable. Why provide for an adapter but not include it in the box?

Omron HEM-7361 - my first accurate digital BP monitor – I use regularly a mercury blood pressure monitor which is the golden standard for accuracy. Indeed, earth gravity and mercury atoms (Hg) tend not to change much over the years!!! In the past 20 years and for convenience I have also used digital monitors and observed that most were worryingly inaccurate, often underestimating the systolic… Read more · 1
pressure by far too much for comfort. The Omron HEM-7361T is the first digital monitor which is accurate i.e. matches the Hg based one. An additional great feature of the HEM-7361T is its automatic record, plots and various info bits over an (iPhone) Omron app.
I am really happy with this machine. This said, I will always consider the Hg based monitor to be the fully trustworthy one.
No, I'd not risk my life on it, that's for sure – It's so inconsistent I don't know whether I've died or I've just been born - EVERY DAY. Inconsistent readings in ONE hit. I have to take three, one after the other, and for my Dr that's just awful, so I have to write the three readings down then average them out. Not happy Jan. But being on a pension I can't afford much. Don't get it. It has a Choice rating of 75% but I'd go with a higher rated one IF I HAD THE $. Hate it. Show details
Worked fine for the 1/2 a dozen times I've used it – Pulled it out of the cupboard just recently, and hooked it up, pressed the start button, and nothing. Was advised I needed Duracell batteries. Installed them, and still nothing. Any suggestions anyone?

HAD MY BP MONITOR FOR 3 YEARS – When I discovered I had high BP I bought the Omron HEM 712. The unit has worked perfectly, even when the battery indicator showed empty. I did not buy it to use as a battery indicator, so I ignored that and changed batteries when they would no longer work. I sent the unit in for verification and that was done for free Show details

Defective omron blood pressure moniter – From purchase the battery indicator showing half empty. Battery changes did not make any difference. Batteries needed to be rattled in order for machine to work. Now it is completely inoperable. The blood pressure machine is 7 months old and Chemist Warehouse were not interested in replacing the machine when it was 3 months old. Show details

Disappointed, zero customer support – I purchased my Omron Blood Pressure Monitor at my doctor's advice, $106. 00 Chemist Wharehouse. After one week the monitor started giving error messages. I replaced the batteries, same error messages. Some times I would have to take my blood pressure 10 times to get any reading. By that time I was so stressed out that the reading was useless. phoned and emailed the third party company who performs warranty work, no response. A waste of money. Had to buy a different brand that works perfectly. Very dissatisfied with Omron.
Disappointed – Only had the monitor for two days, and taken a few readings, the battery indicator shows the there is only 25% battery left! Took it back to Chemist warehouse, they did not want to know me, said they could not see any battery indicator on screen and it was fine. Told me to contact manufacturer and no they would not exchange, refund or even replace batteries! Show details
Perfect – I am a carer I bought this seven days ago and have used it 14 times. Reasonably Fit-For-Purpose; Terrible Battery Indicator – We have used one of these models for 4 years. It was quite accurate -confirmed with yearly calibrations with our GP> We replaced it at Chemist Warehouse today 04 March 2021. Same Model. With new batteries (we tried 2 sets), the machine's battery logo on the screen always shows "Half Full" (i.e. Battery is running low). The customer, using the… Read more
device while touring or camping, can never know when it will run down. This is a simple function - useless
Wrong readings to doctors – After using this at home . Thought might go doctors to get it checked . The readings where so far off . Really disappointed in the product. After all this my pressure was normal. Show details
Memory function is useless – Bought it about one and half years back for $118. Although it’s easy to use and gives quite accurate readings but memory option is useless because it doesn’t show date and time of the reading. Has no Bluetooth connectivity to transfer the data to your phone. Where as aldi’s $30 worth of product has both of these features. Another thing it is missing is that there is no light in display so can not be used in dark. Show details
Simple to use and reasonably priced – I purchased this product to use at home on infrequent occasions. It is simple to use with a one push start/stop button, the display is easy to read and the cuff is simple to attach around your own arm. I thought the price was reasonable and would happily purchase this again. It is a small device and fits easily into a storage space. Show details
not happy – About 2 years old starts to pump but stops after a few seconds. Not worth packing and posting for warranty I will look somewhere else but don't know what to buy. Show details

Omron Blood pressure monitor - faulty unreliable display – After a bout a month this expensive unit began showing random nonsensical characters on its display, so it became useless. Would not recommend at all. Lost the receipt, so no comeback with the pharmacist Terry White, where we bought it. Omron HEM7-12-1 Hassle free blood pressure monitoring – Bought this to replace an old manually pumped cuff monitor that had lost calibration and was at times frustrating to use. diastolic pressure is outside the standard range (above 135/85 mmHgl, Irregular heartbeat detection. You can select which reading to record, stores up to 30. Turn it off AFTER removing cuff.
A great little machine – Runs beautifully and in accord with my General Practitioner's device. I have been using my machiine most days for over two years and have received an error message only once or twice, usually if my shirt sleeve was in the way. Well recommended.
Omron HEM7121 Blood pressure monitor – The Omron is HEM7121 Blood pressure monitor is easy to use and features 30 reading memory with date and time it also irregular heart beat. hypertension and body movement indicators
2 year wonder – hardly been used and when we went to use it wouldn't work. Changed batteries but arm cuff must be have hole in it. keeps reading E3 (the arm cuff was inflated above 299 mmhg when inflating the cuff manually) but it doesn't inflate at all
Same as my doctor uses – Omron Standard Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor - HEM-7121 Works exactly as advertised - very happy with my purchase. Very easy to use. Very clear display. Purchased online from Amcal for $89 with free shipping.
A blood pressure monitor that gives consistent, stable readings – This monitor is ideal for older folk who don't want or need high-tech embellishments. The 30 prior readings are available at the press of a button and the only detection warnings are those for irregular pulse rate or higher-than-desirable diastolic or systolic readings. These are flashed within the pulse rate window. Other symbols are shown only if the monitor's accuracy is compromised by not placing the cuff in correct location on the arm.
A Humdinger! – OMRON Blood Pressure Monitor HEM-7121 I found the Omron automatic BP monitor easy to operate and easy to self-administer. An indicator on the screen shows 'OK' if you have applied the cuff on your arm correctly. The results on the screen are large and easy to read. It stores up to 30 BP readings and uses four AA batteries. I purchased this… Read more
particular model because two other people I know who already had this model, gave positive feedback. I paid $89.95 after a discount of $21. I would recommend it for its simplicity and ease of use.
It works perfectly for me! – This model was recommended as it has all of the important functions without the bells and whistles that both my chemist and doctor said were unnecessary, and that could add up to $60 to the price. It performs well and the function that lets you know that the cuff is on properly is a winner. Simple to use and reliable.
INFERIOR – Bought this because my doctor said keep an eye on pressure.9 out of 10 readings are E5 &E2. sent it back under warranty and I had to pay the postage. Lol. It was returned re- calibrated. Same results, error readings. This misleading device is serious material for my Garbage Bin if they'll accept it. Care for your health and ask and ask a Doctor.
