Pump is excellent and runs nice and quiet. Fast delivery and went in perfect.
Purchased in for $419.
Lasted 4 months before burning out and they didn't cover it under warranty, don't risk you're money with Onga – I was in need of a new pool pump after buying a new house, spoke to clean a pool in Brisbane at the end of December 2021 who recommended an Onga Pentera PPP750 had it delivered and installed by a professional however on Easter Monday it stopped working, called out the professionals only to be told it sucked in air and won't be covered under warranty, pool is full after all this rain so hard to see any anything other than water being sucked into this new pump.
Purchased in at Cleanapool for $535.
Big Onga Dud – Purchased this pump due to Australian and cheap price and in despite of its bad reviews. Works well, High noise level compared to previous pump. Seal rusted out after 14 months with maintained water quality. Decided not to replace seal for $75 bin and try another brand not on the cheap with a bit more warranty.
Purchased in at Pool and Spa Warehouse Online store for $300.
Wouldn't buy one if it was the last pump on earth – I manage a large Agricultural Company that uses 48 of these pumps. Most of them have been installed for less than a year and so far 8 have seized after no more than 20 hours of use. The business that supplied the pumps acknowledges that it is probably a manufacturing default that has been known to occur in another Onga pump model however Onga has denied the Warrantly claim on all but 1 pump. Be warned. I will be swapping to Davey.
