Hi guys. My name Vasyl. I have ONIX AT101-1118 10.1 Quad Core Tablet with Android from Aldi. I did factory reset. When rebooting it stops, and looking for WIFI, to get some applications. But not operating system. How to get OS back. Can we connect to PC, or run from SD card. Any suggestions. Thanks.
I haven't used my tablet for about a year and now i can't remember my password, if i restore it to the way it was Reset Factory default settings/reset user data will i loose the apps i have? and if not how do i do it?
wi-fi connects to modem ok but has no internet access. tried with several modems, same problem. Any ideas??

I purchase used onix tablet from market and reset it and when it restart it need previous gmail account which the other person inserted what i can do with the tablet
I have reset the operating system however when you restart the tablet is asks for the old google account which no longer exists is there another way to reboot the system

Unfortunately there's not much you can do apart from a reset. First try the physical reset (paperclip in the reset hole), and if this doesn't work use the factory reset: Reset option 2 1. Turn off the tablet.
2. Press and hold the volume+ button and the power button for a few seconds until the robot icon appears.
3. After a few moments you will see a green robot with red exclamation (!) mark. Press and hold the power button, then while holding it, press the volume+ button once, then release the power button.
4. Press the volume- button to select the sixth row: "Wipe data / factory reset", then press the power button. From the options that appear on the screen, select: "Yes ... delete all user data" and press the power button to confirm the deletion.
5. Restart the tablet.
My son has put a pattern password on his tablet and now can’t remember the pattern to unlock it what do we do? (Onix Aldi 10.1” quad core android)

As I stated before Aldi electronics is junk and I would never advise anyone to buy their electronics. There is no back up service. What I did to fix my problems with my tablet was throw it in the bin
How can I use my onix kids tablet as an android?
I can't answer that question because mine only lasted a couple of hours before it stopped working. I will never buy AlDI electronica again. Everything I have bought from ALDI never lasted more than a year and in most cases only a few months. ALDI just palm you off to their suppliers who tell you it's not their problem. My advice is to buy a real brand from a reputable supplier that offers customer support and real warrantees. .
where can I obtain a cover for an Onix 10.1 tablet?
I have no idea. I doubt whether Aldi would help. Maybe place a wanted add on Gumtree or somewhere similar
I assume its an accessory case you are after and not the actual body of the tablet: have you tried calling Aldi?

My daughter has not used her (December 2012 model) Onix 7' Android Tablet (Aldi) tablet computer for the better part of 2 years ...due to the slow CPU and unfamiliar operating environment.
I am now trying to charge it to see if it could be useful for my son.
I have tried charging it with the DC power cord and have also tried connecting it to my Mac notebook computer by the USB cable. No signs of life when I hold the power button down for 5 seconds. Any ideas out there?
Mine is doing the same thing....did u find an answer at all?
