The lock key for my ozito 18V 4.O AhLi-ion power exchange mower is getting very hot whilst I am using it. The terminals look ok. The battery is not overheating, nor is the mower- just the lock key. Is this a problem?

Hi, Does anyone know where to get a spare battery for this mower? Ozito said as they are discontinued that you cannot get these anymore. Any help would be great.

Where can I get a replacement key for the LML 036 lawnmower?

My cordless battery operated Ozito Lawnmower starts and then slows and then surges again and then stops and then starts and surges once more- I have checked the batteries and they are good and I have now tightened the screws on the handle ( as per a suggestion from one of the MANY people describing the same problem) It is still within 12 month warranty so I would like to get it sorted pronto. Please advise if there is a simple answer to this problem or do I need to return it and get a replacement mower via warranty

Switch on the handle us worn, ours is out of warranty so I retro fitted a on/ off switch from super cheap $12

My mower is fully charged, but keeps cutting out & now won't start

The handle on the Ozito mower must be quite tight or the electric circuit for the stop switch will not work properly. A longer term solution is to replace the plastic toggles that tighten the handle with bolts and lock washers so the handle stays tight.

I have had the same problem Ozito 36v mower with telescopic handle, I think the answer is to first make sure the 3 electrical contact on the mower are loose enough to move in and out with their springs. This movement ensures all 3 contacts touch the handle contacts with a similar pressure. Secondly clean the contact with electrical contact cleaner an a kitchen abrasive rubbing pad. And lastly coat the contacts with conductive graphite grease to maximize contact and protect from any moisture. Seemed to work for me, good luck!

My mower cuts out, battery is fully charged. Mow 5-10 metres and it cuts out. I have to take the battery out and put it back in and it will go another 5 metres. So annoying. My batteries are fully charged but my mower surges like it's about to cut out then it goes then surges. Any ideas why This seems to be a common fault is this part of a faulty manufacturing batch ? The fault seems to be in the handle where the lever and button engage the engine/blades to mow . Would be helpful if I could get some feed back from an Ozito rep. Many thanks

Try squirting the two sets of contacts with WD40.Any run off will not hurt anything else. Also, remove battery, look for thread around the spindle above and below the blade.

We took ours back to the store thinking something was wrong. We didn't have the handle screwed tightly enough and one side has "connection points" it really need to be tight. Once the guy tightened it, we had no problem. it would be nice if they put that in the troubleshooting. The guy at bunnings says he gets one in a day with this problem.....

I picked up an Ozito mower off the nature strip almost a year ago. No batteries. When I ran it through an adapter on two 18v 2ah batteries - cutting out, as described by many. I adapted it for two Milwaukee 6ah batteries - no problem.

I collected an older Ozito mower last week with a 2.6ah battery. Cutting out. Been trying to work out why. It's not any contacts. Still fully charged. Not overheating. Not being overloaded. Continuing to investigate.

Hi

The mower cut out yesterday when mowing, so I charged the batteries overnight .. inserted the key numerous times and still when I try to start, I hear a beep? Does anyone know what this means, the guide is not very helpful.

Thanks

I have a 36 volt cordless lawn mower batteries fully charged. I was mowing lawn when mower stopped now it will start even though I recharged the batteries and tried again. Can you offer any suggestions as to why this is happening.

I have a fully charged working battery (which I have tested in my Ozito line trimmer & it works fine!) I put it into the lawn mower & the lawn mower is As Dead As a doornail!!!.. *safety key is locked and loaded (I tested that also) I haven't used it in quite a while. I can't figure out why it won't go??

The battery pack is stuck firm in my Ozito 36V mower and can not be removed to recharge - lifting green cover key makes no difference. What to do?

Loe G.

They sometimes stick and can be removed with slight leverage from a small crow bar - no contact with electricals necessary.
