OZtrail Coolibah Arm Chair

Poor Quality Product and Poor Service – I purchased 3 Oztrail Coolibah arm chairs 18 mths ago. The seating has subsequently split on each of the 3 items rendering them unsafe. The company refuses to accept liability for replacement or repair. The company has advised they are not meant to be used outside in the sun as they will suffer damage and also they are to be packed away after each use and not stored under cover where mine have been. These chairs which are quite expensive are promoted at trade fairs as "outdoor camping chairs" and therefore do not live up to their claims for use around campsites, caravanning and tents etc. These chairs are unsafe, too expensive and of poor quality. The company promoted them for use outdoors and is not accepting liability and I am proceeding with recompense through the ACCC.

Fragile, poor quality also bad warranty service – These chairs are specified for more than 150kg, but after I use it no more than 3 times it broke, even though I have less than 90 kg. These chairs are made of cheap plastic parts with poor quality. I contacted the OzTrail to fix the problem, however they said: "Breakage caused by usage is not covered under warranty".....unbelievable! Confortable Expensive with low quality. Cheap plastic parts, bad warranty and comical customer assistance.
