Lovely chair, rubbish location for hinge – Sand and dirt gets caught in the hinge and prevents it from sliding on the rail. Makes it very difficult to fold back down. Other than that, very comfortable and functional. Silly design

Not great quality – Purchased 2 Titans as our old camp chairs had aged and had rusty components. When first using a week later found new chair had rusty rivets, returned to store and showed them they replaced it, I checked it to find the same issue and out of the 8 chairs in store only 1 had not shown signs of rust. When talking to a rep for oztrail he said it would cost too much for stainless rivets. I would rather pay the extra 50 cents and have a chair that will last longer than an extra $70 for New chair. Hubby over 100 kg so after reading reviews am worried I have made the wrong choice but so far they're comfortable. Buyers check rivets and coat in lanolin to keep problems at bay.

quite good – i bought this chair about 18 months ago, i have not experienced any of the issues other posters have referred to, and i weigh roughly 145kgs. It is extremely comfortable with plenty of great storage pockets. obviously no chair is designed to last forever these days, but i found the quality to be good if not great.

Just poor quality – I also have the same titan chair by Oztrail and weigh 120kg's, well short of the 200kg max, i'm now on the 3rd replacement and they have all had the same issue the right hand corner fabric has torn through completely and on 2 out of 3 the main folding plastic lug on the front was cracked right through the replacement one that I removed from the bag today was broken before even being used, so very disappointed in this chair from that aspect, it's not so much that they fail but if while i'm away camping and it fails i'm left without a chair heaps of storage and nice little can/bottle cooler very poor quality workmanship

Cannot withstand 170kg – We purchased one of these chairs from BCF for my mother-in-law for Christmas. She weighs just under 170kg and was so excited to be able to have a portable chair as she didn't know one that would hold her weight even existed. She barely used it (and just around her house) when the fabric on one side started to fray heavily and the plastic beneath showed through. We returned it to BCF and received a replacement (mid-Jan). It almost immediately became apparent that the same situation would occur again, so we pulled the fabric up over the leg joint to prevent this from happening. Because there was no fabric covering the plastic part, it was not comfortable on her leg so she had to put a blanket over the chair when she wasn't wearing long or thick pants. This was a minor annoyance that she was happy to accept. She called us in March to tell us that the pin had broken in the front leg join and my husband had a look and said we better replace it. She continued to use it and one of the arms had frays on the fabric and the actual arm piece has broken through so my husband finally returned it today and got his money back. I feel like for the retail price of $100 (we paid $50 on special) this chair is completely unacceptable. The fact that she is over 30kg lighter than the chair can supposedly hold makes it even worse. I was of the belief that weight ratings are generally advertised as being less than the actual value, so I would have assumed a 210kg individual could use this chair. It was a very comfortable chair with lot's of handy pockets etc and you could adjust the height of the arms for extra comfort Not being able to hold even close to the weight rating is very poor and actually very dangerous. Poor workmanship and design.

See, im 190kg on a good day and this chair is fine. You do need to get your self out by using your legs and the steel on the arms NOT the material arms themselves. it rips if you do that.
