an artificial taste (even in the full sugar version) and extra salt. It doesn't taste like cola at all. My local store often runs out of LA Ice and has to replace some bottles with Pepsi when I order it. They did the same this time, so I got to taste LA Ice alongside Pepsi Max. I used to tell people it's like a slightly less sweet version of Pepsi to the point where when you go back to drinking Pepsi it tastes too sweet for you. That's no longer the case. Now the difference is stark. LA Ice tastes bad. LA Ice does not taste like cola. Pepsi does. Can't compare to Coke since there's something about the flavour I don't like, but this is the last time I order LA Ice. I don't like drinking water, but I'd rather drink water and get my caffeine from coffee than drink another bottle of this tripe with the formula as it is now.

If you are reading reviews, please be conscious that this change in formula happened some time this year. I was drinking the normal stuff earlier this year. I'm not sure exactly when it changed but most positive reviews will be for the old formula.

If you need to buy this soft drink, the zero sugar version is not as severe as in the standard.

My god what have they done to it – Unfortunately I had to change brands because this one had a weird perfumey/soapy flavour to it went back a few month ago to this brand and Eww... what happened it tastes too lemon it's way way too pungent for my taste Show details

Best diet cola available – I agree with other customers. This diet cola is better than Coke and Pepsi but some stores sell it without the “Flavour Hit” as on lable.This product is horrible.The Flavour Hit being a dash of caramel makes a big difference.I have being buying this product for years and if they stop putting the Flavour Hit in they have lost another customer. Well priced plus a great taste – I prefer La Ice over the other brands in terms of taste and price and also package size... unfortunately like most good products.... Lately the cola tasting like soda – Been drinking this drink for over 3 to 4 years but lately tasting the soda more than coke think cutting on ingredients ruins the taste so changing brands.

The best flavour cola – I have tried the Diet Pepsi and the Diet Coke but the LA Maxi Ice Sugarfree Cola is superior in taste. A smooth flavour and refreshing aftertaste is the reward. I would say it's not as peppery as the other colas but still has heaps of flavour which suits me fine. Also amazing is that the taste of the LA Maxi Ice Sugarfree Cola is so close… Read more ·  1

to the sugar version. I believe anyone wanting a sugar free cola need look no further.

I used to be able to dilute the other brand diet colas with 50% water and still get an exceptable taste. Not any more.

But with LA Maxi Ice Sugarfree Cola I can dilute it with 50% water and it's still got a nice flavour and good sweetness.

Although Pepsi Next is a good idea, it's still got a lot of sugar since they're only using 30% stevia. I don't think they will use a higher stevia content as taste will be affected.

As with all Cola drinks one should consume them in moderation and be aware that the food acids used can affect tooth enamel.

I hope you too discover this great value cola soon.

What a great drink – I love LA Ice Cola it has replace Coke as my preference and also have it in the fridge, it has a better flavour than Coke or Pepsi, and is highly recommended,it last longer once opened than the other cola's and the flavour is retained. then you have yet to experience life to it's fullest. Whereas Coke has a strong lemon taste, and Pepsi (Another popular cola) has a cardboard-like taste, L.A Ice has a delicious, light, caramel taste, with a superb after taste. If you want to go to heaven, simply grab a bottle of L.A Ice, and you're there.

P.S; Coke and Pepsi is for drug addicts, hippies, Julia Gillard and liberals. Everything ... Wrong?

Good – I bought this one when I wanted the cola taste and saw this one and noticed it was much cheaper than the other big branded ones. And it tastes just as great. Ice still has an unique taste which is great. Overall, I would buy this soda anytime I wanted something refreshing and tasty to drink. This is a great tasting refreshing cola drink which is just delicious to drink! My complaint is that they dont have it the smaller 375ml cans, which would be great to buy.
