Not Functional – I purchased this radio so i can listen to radio commentary at the footy and not chew through my phone data. This product is not functional, the antenna jack is on the side of the radio so it is hard to put in your pocket. The sound only comes through 1 earpiece, initially i thought my earphones were broken but when i pulled out the earphones that came with the radio it only had 1 earpiece.
Hopefully i can return the product as i am not satisfied with it. would not recommend.

Sounds tinny after less than a month – I've had this portable radio for less than a month and already the sound is tinny and it's difficult to tune it to the stations I want. The wonderful Sony portable radios I've had in the past have lasted a couple of years but unfortunately they're not in stock anywhere. Bought another Panasonic Pocket Radio this year 2025 and it was fine for a week and then the sound turned tinny which I tolerated for a few days. Then the sound changed quickly from Loud and Quiet within seconds repeatedly rendering it impossible to listen to. Returned it.

As you mentioned, being a mono pocket radio with only one speaker, the pocket radio will only output to one earpiece. AS customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Panasonic; I would recommend speaking with your retailer regarding your concerns to discuss what options may be available to you. MM
