Terrible service and tv – We purchased this tv last November. It’s very difficult to watch programs are movies from a USB in there. You can’t download any streaming programs such as Stan onto it. Our screen all of a sudden stopped working. It took 2 weeks for an engineer to turn up and look at it (which I had to take half a day unpaid from work for). He told us it was a… Read more
faulty screen and manufacturing problem and that the tv should be replaced or receive a refund.
We’ve now been without a tv for a month with still no answer of what is going on, the service is shocking with just excuses and no outcome.
This is the first and last time we’ll be purchasing a Panasonic and definitely won’t be recommending them!
The TV does it all – The panasonic is the best television I have ever had now. First all all talking about the quality of the screen- it is brighter than the Sony tv of the same size. This TV does not have 4k but the picture is still better than the Sony 4K that I bought at the same time. Second , talking about the add on. I like the home screen - where I can… Read more
check whethae , time, at the same time watching tv. Or my son can switch to ABC kids easy from the home screen
Thirdly, youtube connection. Just comparing the Sony 55 Sony KD-55X7000E, Panasonic worked better connect better and quicker. Than streaming, i can not ever make Sony to streem from my phone - this drive me crazy but this panasonic did it smoothly. Love it
Four, panasonic has an panasonic app where you can take advantage of it to turn on turn off the TV, websearch and publish on Tv, publish your picture or video on phone to TV. Love it. I used it to publish my son video on my phone to TV on my sn birthday without doing much of video editing.
One more, if you used the panasonic app you can also use keyboard and send text to search on Tv rather than type text by searching on remote controls.
Last but not least, if you use usb to connect to tv to watch movies please stay away from
Sony KD-55X7000E Because it can not recognise and show subtitles if you need them. And again Panasonic did very well to show subtitles.
Love this tv.
Perfect TV, great quality – Very quick switching between TV, AV and Netflix. I like that you can customise the home screen and the mirroring works well. Easy set up out of the box, nice controller. Great picture quality and so far has been capable of doing everything we want it to.
