light and easy to use – love my P&T classic. light weight and easy to move around. Our capsule fits in front so can have NB in front and toddler in the back.... is great to take out running... Has been great to use during pregnancy as well as after baby as it is so light weight and easy to get in and out of the car everything is a great light weight pram accessories are a bit pricey but u can get these off ebay
Love it – This is a great pram, and I've used a lot! Light, easy to fold and put in car. Easy to put kids in. They are happy in it. Easy to push and maneuver. The brake is tough, but that's what I'm after in a brake! It's worth the money! Wish I had bought it sooner and not wasted my time on cheaper ones. Everything! Accessories are expensive, but that's because it's brand name. Pram itself is still worth it.
Truly a waste of money – I think the positive reviewers on here must've taken some serious knocks to the head, as this is the worst pram I have ever used (and I've used 9). It astounds me that it is so popular, and that it doesn't violate any manufacturing guidelines. - Hard to fold, impossible to take on/off bottom seat, kids in bottom seat can stick fingers in… Read more
turning wheels(!), hard to push/steer especially with two children or one older child, brake too hard unless you wear blundstones or use your hand, basket useless when in double mode, fabric rips easily and not resistant to normal strain
The best twin jogger you could possibly want – This jogger is amazing, so easy to manouver, folds down quickly and simply too. Can be used from newborn all the way up to young child. The 2nd seat can be placed at the back as well as on the front as a toddler seat. Fits through isles in shops, easily fits in the boot of most cars.Comes in great colours, plenty of accessories to go with it too. size, weight, steering
This pram is so so – I am a bit disappointed in this pram. It had a few cons but in the end it takes two children and is narrower then most other doubles. You can't change the seat position when the child is in the pram which is such a pain! We have had alot of issues with the wheels & tyres & ended up having to buy 3 new inner tubes when the pram was only 6 months… Read more
old. Takes 2 kids, narrow wheel base, large hood, easy fold down Not very comfortable for the children, foot brake was a nightmare to get on & off, i think 3 wheelers are unsteady, we've had issues with wheels and issues with tyres deflating,
Waste of money !! – I was very excited to buy my first Phil and Ted double pram, it looks great but parts are very expensive to replace - pretty light to push - Great on gravel tyres burst very easily if pumped up too much , not much padding for baby
Very disappointing – I purchased my classic buggy 6 months ago right before the birth of my first child. I was very excited initially. We are planning to have another child within the next 2 years and this seemed like a great pram that we could use for the next few years. We don't have a car and therefore I spend up to two hours a day walking and running errands. We… Read more
felt the classic would be perfect and hold up against the hours and hours and walking (mainly on bike paths or sidewalks). My baby decided long ago that he will only nap in the pram and only when it's moving. As you can image that means that I have pushed this prams many many kilometers. However, within a few weeks it started having problems. I have gone back and forth with the warranty people at P & T and am extremely frustrated at this point. I purchased the cocoon and really liked it. I used it up until my son was about 3 months old. It was nice to be able to take him out easily and wrap him up all comfy inside of it. I liked that with the seat of the pram fully reclined and the cocoon inserted I could look straight down at his face. The front tyre burst, came out of and warped the rim the first time we pumped it up. I submitted a warranty claim and was promptly sent a new wheel. However, the wheel was for a different pram, didn't match the remaining two wheels and was larger. Then, after a few more months of use the back wheels started giving out. They wobbled in a figure 8 and made strange clicking sounds. The pram has become increasingly harder to push as my son grows. He's only 9 kilos now. I can't image what it'll be like when he gets bigger. I have submitted another warranty claim and they are in the process of sending me new wheels yet again. The break is ridiculous. I have to litterally kick at it as hard as I can at least 3 or 4 times. I usually just bend down to pull it up with my hand. Overall, especially considering the price tag, I am disappointed. If the new wheels don't fix my problem I plan to ask for my money back- I don't have high hopes.
Bad – It looked like a fantastic pram for two children when I bought it but I am quite disappointed in the quality and performance of the stroller so far. It is not very sturdy. I wouldn't buy another Phil n Teds. - Great for walking to the park and going offroad - Smaller and easier to manoeuvre around the shops than most 3 wheelers - One of the… Read more
wheelframes warped and would not keep the tyre on after only four months of regular use
- Recline can't be performed easily
- Another tyre burst for no apparent reason
- Very difficult/heavy to fold and unfold without scraping the plastic on the ground.
- Expensive for what you get
- No pockets
- No sunhood on the rear seat
- Mudguards are flimsy and fall off easily
Great pram when you have two little ones – Was glad to find a pram that catered for my two children who were 2 years apart in age. As a newborn my little one loved the swinging motion in the sling like area while my 2 year old sat up top. It was difficult to use the sun hood when the top seat is used. But really we only used this position until bub could sit at 5 months, then I had both… Read more
sitting up using the extra seat at the back. My little one preferred the back and loved it. My older child preferred the front as she could see more. As they both grew, it was difficult to use the basket as long legs were in the way and if the child at the front got out first then the pram would over balance. The pram is basic and not perfect but all that came in second compared to the convenience of being able to push two children around happily. Convenient, caters well for 2 children, narrow, hard wearing Wouldn't use it as a single pram as it is only basic, the brake is hard to use when wearing sandals, as the children grow the pram is heavier to push, I had issues with punctures as I was in a rural area.
Fantastic & Versatile - Used Everyday – I love this stroller. Well designed to accommodate newborns to 4yrs. When I had my second child I simply purchased the toddler seat that easily clips into the choice of two unobtrusive positions, and also is covered by the sunshade. The entire stroller can easily dismantle for cleaning, in most cases simply unclip (apart for two small screws in… Read more
the luggage carrier). Fantastic for unfolding and repositioning. Lightweight for easy lifting & including as luggage on an aeroplane. Reliable, lightweight, robust, easy to clean, versatile, easy to dismantle (can easily remove wheel if tyre flat). Tyres can puncture.
Essential item for out and about – Easy to put up and down, fits in a small boot and its very agile and light to push with two children in it. Light and compact for a two seater pram.
Excellent – Really good pram-easy to fold, hard hearing, extra accessories easy to by & comfortable for baby/child. I love this company- have the cot, highchair that sits on the side of the table as well. Really good pram! hard to clean properly and wheels need pumping up if you are going to use it on the road often
Good – I have had a 3 wheel side by side a 4 wheel side by side trekker - for transit holiday and local use this pram wins. Easy to push with 2 and sold at end of use for excellant price on ebay. Every pram is personal choice do research to be happy. Thought my girls had finished with prams but wish I still had it now number 2 had enough but is happy… Read more
to be back in one.... another lesson learnt along lifes travels. Reasonable weight in comparison with other prams. Plenty of space for child. Great manouvarability. Accessories options are excellant. Tyres are great. People comment on the foot break and it is stiff but I think this is a bonus - when it is locked on its on. Basket under is a good size. Handle is confortable for long walks also. Size in boot, in our smaller car takes up 1/3 in the other car is a breeze. If older child wants to sit under its hard work getting in and out.
