The quality of the NUVO is amazing, the materials used feel and look great. Being able to fold it down with both pram seats has made life so much easier - I’ve had single prams that don’t fold down to be as compact as the NUVO with two seats. Really smooth to drive. option to carry 2-3 children in multiple configurations, sturdy and safe, which looked good / modern with a large storage basket. My husband took it upon himself to research and investigate what prams may be suitable. It was like he was buying a new car!!

We decided to order the Redsbaby Nuvo on a 30 day indoor trial (as it was online only and not available in stores), so we could compare it side by side to some other prams we were looking at in our local baby stores (UppaBaby Vista V2 and Edwards and Co). We trialled it indoors and outdoors compared to the other prams, and with a weighted baby, taking it along footpaths and also up some small kerbs.

The Redsbaby Nuvo pram compared to the others we were looking at in all aspects, it was also lighter and easier to manouvre and fold up whilst also being several hundreds of dollars cheaper (even if we decided we needed to order in the capsule adaptors, and the available rain/sun/insect covers).

This pram is wonderful, looks great and has all the features we were looking for! Now we just need to wait for our baby so we can fully enjoy it!

massive 12kg storage basket that swallows the nappy bag, shopping, and extras without a second thought, and that clever shared frame means swapping from bassinet to seat is quick and tool-free.

The bassinet is fantastic—super breathable with those big mesh panels, keeps our little one cosy and sleeping soundly on walks around the Botanic Gardens or down by the beach paths. No overheating even on warmer SA days, and the full-coverage canopy with UPF protection is a lifesaver. Baby lies flat safely (up to 9kg/6 months), and the high seat position later on lets us chat face-to-face easily. One-handed removal of the bassinet or seat is genius when you’re juggling a sleeping bub and groceries!

Pushing is effortless—smooth suspension on all terrains (we’ve done gravel tracks, uneven footpaths, and grass no problem), one-handed fold/unfold (even with bassinet attached in single mode), and it stays compact enough for our boot without drama. The quality feels premium: durable fabrics, sturdy build, magnetic peek-a-boo window, and thoughtful touches everywhere.

If you’re starting with one baby but want something versatile without committing to a bulky double right away, the NUVO single + bassinet combo is spot-on. It’s stylish, practical, and gives that peace of mind knowing we can add a second seat anytime. Daily use for months now—city errands, long walks, coffee runs—and it’s made parenting outings so much more enjoyable.

time-saver. I also love that the same frame can be used with either the bassinet fabric or the seat fabric, rather than needing completely separate bassinet and seat units. I also found their customer service to be very prompt and helpful when I needed to organise a return/replacement.

On the downside, the first pram I received was slightly worn and had to be returned, which was disappointing. The storage basket could also be improved. Items tend to slip out the back because there’s no edge, and you have to remove everything from the basket before folding the pram down. The harness is another small frustration, as you need to click in four separate straps instead of being able to pop them in with a single click on each side, which would be much quicker when you have a wriggling toddler.

Overall though, after researching and trying many different prams, I genuinely think this is one of the best double prams on the market.

After stopping a random lady in the shopping centre and asking for her advice on her Redsbaby, she said “do it, you won’t regret it, best baby purchase by far”. We’ve had our Nuvo for a few weeks now and I couldn’t agree more, the ease of packing it down, fitting in my small boot, opening it up (especially while pregnant this can be no easy task) the comfort for my 8 month old, it is so easy to handle and smooth on so many surfaces and most importantly the basket size!!! I can finally grocery shop and not carry bags out! In comparison to my last 2 prams I’m sad I didn’t choose Redsbaby sooner. If you’re second guessing yourself, do it. You won’t regret it! one bit when he is put in to this pram. I know that sounds silly but our old pram he would kick and scream and not be seated for long before we’d be carrying him around all the time. The Nuvo 2 is an absolute game changer for us and makes my life SOOOO much easier when I’m out and about with both kids on my own. I am obsessed with how gorgeous this pram looks. It's so light weight - easy to fold up and down. The functionality alone is worth every penny. We are extra tall people so love the high handle.
