Philips 6700 Series

Great Value -as good as Samsung/LG but about 50% cheaper – Bought 6700 series 55" 6 month ago and it hasn't missed a beat. Is new technology Smart TV which I haven't had before and youtube and Netflix work flawlessly directly from the voice activated remote. pretty much identical to the more expensive mainstream tvs that everyone buys due the big marketing $'s they spend.

A pity that Philips has decide not to really sell their tvs in Australia (I bought from Ebay).

The 7000 and 8000 series are more amazing but not available in Aus.

Beta vs. VHS comes to mind.
