Waste of money – Bought the newborn natural avent pack on 2/12/16 and everything working well for a two weeks. Then the steam steriliser stopped working. Managed to exchange product on 27/12/16 ( thanks baby bunting you're awesome) and this morning 5/01/17 this one stops working ??? I think Phillips should recall the product as this is ridiculous I'm going to get a microwave steamer and stay clear of avent.

Worst thing I've ever bought – By far the worst product I purchased for my babies. Not only does the machine leak the plate is so burnt I'm afraid to use it as like others have said my bottles smell like burning. I now cannot afford or have time to replace having new born twins so have resorted to a plastic box and sterilising tablets. May I add I followed every rule in the book.....cleaning more than once a week, wiping after use and correct amount of water

Don't waste your money – I have just went to turn my steriliser on, which is one week old, which worked this morning and I have followed the directions to a tee, is now unresponsive and in my words has blown up! Stopped working suddenly – Suddenly my avent 3 in 1 steriliser stopped working, no light no steam its just dead... bought it from Babies r us. We have been to Babies R us today but could not get satisfactoy answer. The product lasted for 10 weeks only. Not at all happy . You could not muck around going to shops to get it exchanged when u have a small baby with you . Its no point spending money on this.

Everything smells burnt - do not waste your money – We purchased the steriliser as part of the bottle starter kit. From the first time we used it the bottom plate rusted and everything smelt like smoked / burnt flavour. We descaled it and have followed all the instructions to no avail. numbers then waited another week and found the staff member had gone on holidays. His out of office reply sent an email to the junk folder.

We've had to go out and buy a microwave steriliser which works perfectly.

I'm so disappointed in this product I should have read the reviews before buying it.

My Avent breast pump is not working properly now either. We've spent a small fortune on Avent and feel disappointed.

My husband is trying to sort the complaint out now. We're waiting for a different staff member to ring us back after calling them

Then I used the 2nd one once worked fine. Twice worked fine. Third time same problem. It now won't turn on (no light, no steam, no heat) Just died! I've been using it as instruction with 100ML water (used bottle water) to minimize mineral build up and since only' been used twice it was not ready for a cleaning.

This is the worst sterilizer on the market for its price. It shouldn't break down like this so easily. Perhaps they need to look into their electrical make up.

Not working after 3 weeks – I had to exchange my faulty medela steriliser (although I never actually had a problem with it, it was recalled) for the avent which has now stopped working after 3 weeks! Shocking and very frustrating as I need to feed baby in one hour! My review seems consistent with those below....

Meant to help/is more trouble than it is worth! – Used approx. 8 times & after following instructions it rusted after 5 uses. Nothing prevents the burning smell that has gone through all of my newborn babies bottles. Seems unsafe & if I have to clean thoroughly after each use I may as well boil my bottles. Not worth the money I paid as I don't feel comfortable using a product that makes such an awful smell.

Broke down within a month – I bought this back in July 2015 and my baby was born at he end of November. filtered water into the base it had scale already, cleaned it off like the instructions.

I am a bit disappointed really because it looked promising as a product.
