Philips Avent Milk Powder Dispenser

Dangerous!! Oversaturated milk and dehydration risk – Formula pours from adjacent compartment and milk becomes over saturated with formula. Our baby got dehydrated and badly constipated after using for a bout a week. I only made the connection when I noticed that the adjacent compartment was pouring into the milk as I made up a bottle. Old for travelling – I love it, easy to carry formula when I go on holidays or long drive, it got 3 compartments , can carry powder for 3 bottles, can mix fomula from one side to other if you shake bottle, but only minimal, otherwise you can see the powder through light blue plastic bottle , I found it very easy to carry, use, clean & store. Useless – This dispenser is poorly designed it is difficult to open the lid, its difficult to pore the formula into the bottle through the little whole and formula gets stuck or spread around, the lid has a tiny opening aid which is supposed to make it easier to open the lid to rotate however, it sits over the handle on one of the sections making it impossible to open, the formula mixes when shaking. It's absolutely useless.

Perfect size! – I like this product because it has a perfect size for my baby bag. The 3 separate compartments are also perfect for all day out, enough to cover all the milk time. Very easy to clean up and to store. I also like the clear light blue colour so that I can see the milk powder inside. The lid is very tight attached and easy to twist around. Show reply
Complete waste of money – The formula powder is not separated in the sections, when you shake the container it all mixes and the amounts become incorrect. Also, when trying to pour out the powder a bunch of it catches on the inside of the container and doesn't come out, you have to shake the container to get it out which results in powder going everywhere. Overall a terrible product, not designed for formula powder at all.

Doesn't separate sections well enough – The idea of this is great but unfortunately the powder can fall into the other compartments from the middle when you tip the container. This results in the incorrect amount of formula being added to each bottle. I tried to empty one of the compartments to make a bottle and powder from the other compartments kept falling in so I ended up with too much powder in the bottle while the other scoops in the container ended up with less than needed.

So handy – This product is great. It's a great size to fit into the nappy bag or small insulated bag... The lid goes on tightly and I love the swivel lid to each separate compartment. Easy to wash in three separate sections. A must have for organizing formula quantities or feeding while out! Show reply
Does what it's supposed to – There is three parts to this product. A tub, lid and removable powder separator/compartment. It's nifty because once baby grows out of formula it can be used as a food container. There's a little dent on the side of the tub so when pulling apart the pieces to clean, make sure you reassemble it correctly (it's not hard) or else it is hard to push… Read more
the insert and close the lid. It does what it's supposed to do: contain three separate measurements of formula powder. Easy to rotate the lid to each compartment and pour the powder in. Lid is snap shut and does not leak. Only criticism is its price. There are other products on the market that does exactly the same for half the cost. Also this item is a luxury not necessity for parents. It just makes travelling easier to put in the nappy bag and go, as you don't have to carry the entire tin of formula out or pre mix a bottle before you leave the house which is great for long trips. Travel friendly, reusable, does not leak Expensive
