Where can I buy additional discs for this machine, I need a papadelle, lasagna and angel hair one please?
For this particular model you can’t. You need the higher end model.

I am delighted with my pasta machine and the spaghetti, angel hair turned out perfect. However, the lasagne just does not seem to work. It comes out of the machine unevenly, more from the bottom than top and cracks up. I follow the recipe..200g flour, egg and 85ml water. I tried twice and failed both times. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there. Is there different discs available for this pasta maker?
I saw on an online store that this compact model (HR2342/06) has been discontinued? Is this correct? And if so, was there a reason why? Thanks
Our Philips HR2342 chamber keeps on jamming on after use. We switch it to off, unplug, remove lid and cannot remove the chamber. This is the second one we have had so perhaps we are doing something wrong? I’ve put it together as per book etc and same thing is happening. First time was fine now it’s stuck on again. Any ideas?
Hi, take it back to place where you bought it and get them to show you. Always a good idea with electrical items that you buy online is to purchase from a place that has shopfronts. Contact Philips also.
Hi there, Thanks for asking. It is possible that the machine gets stuck for a couple of reasons. It is possible that there may be too much flour in the chamber, the flour/water ratio might not have been followed correctly or the wrong program is selected. Can we extend the mixing and kneading time?
I've never tried, and there is no option on the device to do so. However, some people have suggested stopping it before it extrudes, turning it off, and then starting again to increase the kneading time. I haven't done this so I can't tell you if it will work. I haven't had an issue with the length of time that the device currently allows. What I have discovered is it is inadvisable to make the pasta if the weather is hot and humid, the pasta strands clump together.

Can additional discs be purchased that work on the Viva machine? - I presume the other discs being sold are for the higher end machines. I'm particularly interested in the Angel hair.
Hi and thanks for your question! At the moment we don't have extra other discs that are being sold for the Viva Collection HR2342/06. That doesn't mean this won't happen ever. But currently we don't have any news we could share regarding this.
