Overpriced Junk – Long term review. I bought this just over a year ago. I was thinking I'd like a single DIN unit that was quality and has decent sound. Which it does (when working right) I thought I'd spend a little extra and get something decent that was gonna last and sound good. Well this was very short lived and I REGRET my purchase of this!!!!. At around 8 months old it kept on forgetting my phone constantly asking me to pair with it each time I used it. Annoying!!!..Then the remedy was to reset it to factory via instructions in the manual. I have had to do this numerous times since. Each time all of the settings are wiped as well as the clock, display settings, the radio stations, the bass, the equalizer settings. The whole blocks and dice. So frustrating and time consuming only to be repating all of this in the not to distant future. Of late it won't play my USB. Probably another reset but I'm at my wits end wasting time with it. I bought it from NO FRILLS car audio and accessories in Sydney via eBay. And when I contacted them I was ignored and swept under the carpet. I will never use eBay to buy a high ticketed item like this again nor from NO FRILLS and I will NEVER buy another PIONEER product. They used to be the best but now have gone to the wall

Purchased in at No Frills Cameras Online store for $262.

Complicated to use at first, but very good and loaded with features – I installed this in my Land Rover because I needed a Bluetooth system that I could use for phonecalls in the car. Also wanted to be able to listen to Spotify music and this unit seemed to fit the bill. Was an easy DIY installation if you've done one before or are electronically-minded. The functions on the unit take some time to learn, and while the instruction manual is some help, it just takes a little practice to learn the functions. There's a lot of them, and they are really good, once you get the hang of it. The quality of the audio on phonecalls if very good, and the microphone installed on the dash assists here. The unit will also sync your contacts so the name of the caller displays rather than the number.

Spotify works well, and it's a big step up from my old stereo setup of an aux cord plugged into my phone. Spotify songs display the song artist and title, and it's selected as a separate input (like radio or CD) rather than fishing around in your phone. Much safer too!

I'd give it five stars if it had been easier to learn, but overall a very good unit and well recommended.

Got it on special at Repco, but my NRMA membership gave 20% off, so that was actually a better price.
