!!!DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE!!! – !!!DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE!!! This product is so badly made that it can't handle even plugging in the plug to the back of the unit some of the pins will push deep into the unit and then contact with other pins and short it out. Worse part is they count this as user error and won't cover the fault for soft plastic that cant hold the pins in place,

Don't buy if you have an iPhone – We didn't read the very small fine print where it says you can not play iphone /apple music via this radio. (Stupid us, but I never thought a USB port excluding iphone would even exist). So on top of the $135 for the bin we wasted $140 for someone installing the useless piece of equipment. To find the no-Apple point in the manual I read the whole thing and must say: the rest of the unit is horrible to set up (find a station, volume etc) as well.

Purchased in at Repco for $135.

Simple decent car stereo if you get it for discount price – This is a very simple car stereo unit that I got for $100 for my old 1999 Toyota Echo hatch. All features including Bluetooth pairing with my Samsung S9+, radio, USB reader all work well so far (been about two weeks since I installed it). Volume can be a bit soft, and the volume reverses direction if I turn the knob too fast. The change track buttons aren't big enough, but the buttons themselves feel very solid.

In-built mic for hands free calling is just okay. I have to yell for the other person to hear me if I'm going fast. But there is the option to install an external mic using the wiring.

Overall, this is a decent unit *if* you can get it at a discount and aren't looking for a major upgrade. For me, I went from a Sony unit without Bluetooth to this unit with Bluetooth because I *always* listen to audiobooks when driving, and I couldn't use a Bluetooth dongle in the cigarette lighter anymore.

But if you can't get it at a cheap price, then I cannot recommend this product.
